Really fucked up, if you look at the blinds it's a normal downswing, but in dollars it's just devastating... I wouldn't have a problem with it if I had a big roll, but now I'll have to move down sometime and I don't want to since I think it's just bad luck, since players arn't that good...
hmm... I feel the same at the moment
It's all about "scare money" because of 2x bigger swings (0.5/1 -> 1/2 -> 2/4).. You should think about BB and try to forget all about money - I know it's not easy but that's the only way how to get over that (or to have very nice upswing ). Just don't check your bankroll while playing, don't take a look in Elephant during the session - there's no way how it can help you and negative effect can be devastating if you're loosing.
Maybe try to set some deadline, like "finish at 8:30" or "500 hands in this session" (actually the second one is not the best one as you will have to check Elephant/PT too often in the end). And after you close the last table, take a look at the stats and bankroll - and think in BB.
Personally, I found $/hour stat as the most irriating
(BB/100 hands should be the most important but we're just people...)
Last "advice": if you're tracking your overall progress do it ONLY in BB (including bankroll).
It's all about to get familiar with higher amounts you win/loose in each session - there's nothing like better/worse players (at least on 0.5/1 - 2/4 limits)..
good luck
