It's a so called Prime-Squeeze-Spot. A Fibonacci-Prime-MortalCombat-Ninja- JB-Style-Combo-Squeeze to 21 would have probably been too much here and might have scared As9s away.

The 19 clearly sucked MP in, well played sir! For more details on this and many more strategies buy our book. For sale Q3 2013 at the bookstore of your trust. Get ready to completely mindfuck and confuse your competition with brand new mathematical poker concepts, applied by the one and only jbpatzer.

Oh high res, schmigh res. You can see enough. Mountains, sea/lochs and sky. I expect New Zealand is similar but with volcanos.

Why 19bb?

a) I made it 9bb + 3bb for every caller + a bit for being OOP.
b) What TT said.

Take your pick.

I ended up playing Spungeh HU last night. Finished 1-1 after he beat me at NL 2-7 SD, even though I had to keep telling him the rules (fml, he is a luckbox) and then I beat him at stud (much more skillful game obv). He's coming to Nottingham to visit DTD at the weekend, so I will go along too. I suspect he thinks I'm a young man trapped in the body of a grumpy middle-aged professor. It's actually the other way around, so he may get a shock.

No luckbox, just needed to know the rules, then i was pro.. stud was just irritating in that format, as the first 4hours didnt even matter.

DTD will be fun, and nope, I think you're a grumpy middle-aged professor, stuck in a grump middle-aged professor's body

MTT night tonight. I played six $4.50 180 mans. Lost four flips in a row then jammed A5s into AA and QTs into AJ, and that was that. I mean what are the chances of losing all those eh? It's got to be about a gazillion to one. Just rigged innit.

Book first, poker second for a while.

There's going to be a deluxe edition of the book, which will cost $500, that guarantees that you will win flips if you buy it. I'll put you down for a copy.

$500 for that, is massively under valued..

I'd pay so much to win 100% of all flips ever for the rest of my poker career.

You really will win all your flips if you buy our book, but only if you're a good person. That's why I suggested it to mineriva, because, even though, on the surface, he's a miserable old bastard like me, he's probably OK......for a foreigner. For Spungeh, there is no hope, and he should probably save his money, especially as he's a huge luckbox already.

I had an entertaining evening last night playing £1/£1 at DTD with Damian and Tom. I played for just over five hours, and managed to lose all of the £200 I brought with me. I got set mined by a midstacker. I lost some £££ with AK< Damian's A3 on a QJ33K board. I made a bit back later with KK>QQ and by making a flush against another pesky short/midstacker.

Last hand I got my remaining £100 in on a Q :diamond: 9 :diamond: 4  flop with Q :club:9 :club: . He had J :diamond: T :diamond:, so we were flipping. Given what I said about flips above, you'd think I'd have managed to avoid the 7 :diamond: that came on the turn, . To make it worse, I was so tired that, when he said afterwards that he had 17 outs, and that I was therefore way behind, I didn't think for long enough to point out to him that (a) he can''t count and (b) I have 4 outs, so that he actually only has about 51%. It was OK, though. I didn't feel I played badly, except that I got a bit of Boredom Tilt and played some hands I never would online. Five hours = 150-180 hands = about 10 minutes of four tabling Zoom or Rush. I really don't think I have the time or patience to play live. From now on, I'll probably just do it as a social event, or if I particularly fancy fondling some real chips. At least Damian let me beat him at chess and draughts on his iPad. What a gent!

I'm starting to see how I was allowed to get away with so many terrible jokes in the first draft of the book.
