Raising the turn here makes absolutely no sense

If you don't have a genuine semi-bluff on this board that's because your capping range is unbalanced and not a problem with having AK.

The guy is hyper aggressive for sure but our hand is just terrible even vs a random hand on the river and he's got better than a random hand

We don't always have to play the table policemen, the reason we bet maniacal players isn't because we call down w/ every Ace-High no matter the board, it's becasue we select our action better.

On this board if I'd chosen to cap preflop I'd call the flop and turn bets and fold the river, we'll have plenty of better hands in our capping range to make a stand with.

Personally I wouldn't have capped preflop but that's an entirely different line of thought.

you should cap BECAUSE hes a maniac. But i got to say as boomer. the turn raise makes no sense. He will not fold anything. and when he donks, i know maniacle players do that a lot but sometimes they actually got something.
