thank you sir

had a very solid session, def made a profit and played rly well imo... with the notable exception of one questionable hand on the beginning:

PokerStars - $0.10 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (BTN): $10.29
SB: $5.30
BB: $7.70
UTG: $5.15
MP: $15.74
CO: $16.19

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has K♣ J♦

fold, fold, CO raises to $0.20, Hero raises to $0.60, fold, BB calls $0.50, fold
co is weak reg and i don't want sb possible 4-tabling midstack reg to squeeze. calling is probably better though because i'm ip, sb prob doesn't actually squeeze that often and bb is a fish.
he called anyway though :f_eek:

Flop: ($1.45, 2 players) 7♠ K♠ 6♥
BB checks, Hero bets $0.90, BB requests TIME, BB raises to $2.30, Hero calls $1.40
drawy board, fish might have a lot of draws so cbet for value.
when he cr i think a bit and decide to go with the hand based on that assumption, i haz top pair, he can have a draw so i'll call and fold spades and ship blanks.
in hindsight i think flop is a clear fold though. this is like bottom of our range and fish will most often will play their draws passively.

Turn: ($6.05, 2 players) 8♦
BB bets $2.50, Hero raises to $7.39 and is all-in, BB calls $2.30 and is all-in
this is enough of a brick, don't think he has 54 too often and he probably doesn't c/r 87 or T9, might have 89 sometimes.
so just going with the hand, but the plan was bad to begin with. :f_biggrin:

River: ($15.65, 2 players) 6♠

BB shows Q♦ K♥ (Two Pair, Kings and Sixes) (Pre 74%, Flop 86%, Turn 93%)
Hero shows K♣ J♦ (Two Pair, Kings and Sixes) (Pre 26%, Flop 14%, Turn 7%)
BB wins $14.95

super obv he had better :f_biggrin:
his actual holding was a bit surprising though, but yeah my relative hand strength just sucked, should just fold flop.
AK is kinda close, probably drawing my line at AA.

now for better hands:

another fish 3betshove spot

PokerStars - $0.10 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: $5.33
SB: $5.05
BB: $6.11
UTG: $10.00
Hero (MP): $17.77
CO: $10.00

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has A♠ Q♥

fold, Hero raises to $0.35, fold, BTN raises to $5.33 and is all-in, fold, fold, Hero requests TIME, ...

Spoiler

Hero calls $4.98
probably worst hand i call here.

Hero shows A♠ Q♥ (High Card, Ace) (Pre 74%)
BTN shows J♠ A♣ (High Card, Ace) (Pre 26%)

Flop: ($10.81, 2 players) T♥ 9♠ 7♣

Turn: ($10.81, 2 players) K♦

River: ($10.81, 2 players) Q♠

Hero shows A♠ Q♥ (One Pair, Queens) (Pre 74%, Flop 72%, Turn 84%)
BTN shows J♠ A♣ (Straight, Ace High) (Pre 26%, Flop 28%, Turn 16%)
BTN wins $10.32

it's okay :f_biggrin:

PokerStars - $0.10 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: $10.51
SB: $10.20
BB: $49.04
UTG: $25.88
Hero (MP): $9.99
CO: $13.53

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has 8♥ 8♣

fold, Hero raises to $0.30, CO calls $0.30, BTN calls $0.30, fold, fold

Flop: ($1.05, 3 players) 2♥ T♠ 8♠
Hero bets $0.80, fold, BTN calls $0.80
3way and too many draws here

Turn: ($2.65, 2 players) 6♥
Hero bets $1.74, BTN calls $1.74
can prob bet at least 3/4 again, was overly scared of 97 for no reason

River: ($6.13, 2 players) T♥
Hero bets $1.50, ...

i think the best play on this river is to bet small.

factors in order of relevance: i have the effective nuts, spades missed, Tx paired, hearts hit, some random gs missed.
when i look like i am scared of this river, missed draws might go for a bluffraise. Tx most likely also will value raise, and if he somehow has hearts he'll also value raise.
if he has something like JJ he also probably won't want to pay a big bet either.
so i think sizing is fine.

BTN raises to $3.00, Hero raises to $7.15 and is all-in, BTN calls $4.15

this is def a value raise by him, well if he happens to have T8 or TT (which i doubt) then congrats to him.
also if he can have that then he can have 22 as well.

Hero shows 8♥ 8♣ (Full House, Eights full of Tens) (Pre 51%, Flop 94%, Turn 91%)
BTN mucks 9♦ T♦ (Three of a Kind, Tens) (Pre 49%, Flop 6%, Turn 9%)
Hero wins $19.51

lol

PokerStars - $0.10 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

BTN: $11.67
Hero (SB): $21.39
BB: $14.27
UTG: $18.73
MP: $15.16
CO: $12.58

Hero posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has A♠ A♥

UTG raises to $0.30, MP calls $0.30, CO calls $0.30, BTN calls $0.30, ...

Hero raises to $2.22, fold, UTG raises to $4.50, ...

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $8.88, UTG calls $4.38

Flop: ($18.76, 2 players) 6♦ 7♠ 2♠
Hero bets $5.00, UTG raises to $9.85 and is all-in, Hero calls $4.85

Turn: ($38.46, 2 players) 9♠

River: ($38.46, 2 players) Q♠

Hero shows A♠ A♥ (Flush, Ace High) (Pre 81%, Flop 91%, Turn 91%)
UTG shows T♦ T♥ (One Pair, Tens) (Pre 19%, Flop 9%, Turn 9%)
Hero wins $36.96

my 0-hand reads (screenname, avatar, stack) made me think that he could be an ok player (aka he mostly has KK here) but then i found out that he was 1-tabling. :f_cry:
well, not like i'm complaining :f_eek:

and a straight fold

PokerStars - $0.10 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

BTN: $11.20
SB: $15.76
BB: $15.70
UTG: $8.34
MP: $11.01
Hero (CO): $43.40

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has 5♥ 4♥

fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.25, BTN calls $0.25, fold, fold
reg looking 4-tabling "unknown" guy

Flop: ($0.65, 2 players) 9♦ A♠ 3♣
Hero bets $0.35, BTN calls $0.35

Turn: ($1.35, 2 players) 2♠
Hero bets $0.89, BTN calls $0.89

River: ($3.13, 2 players) A♣
Hero bets $2.45, BTN SNAPraises to $9.71 and is all-in, ...

fold

BTN wins $7.67

this is a board where he can very easily slowplay a set.
on the river i just bet big to get max value from Ax and avoid light value raises, really doubt that that he raises something like AK here vs this sizing.

this is not a super hard fold because he most likely has no bluffs (who tries to turn something into a bluff to make Ax fold in this spot, specially vs these big bets) and no worse hands that he could raise here.
he reps a fullhouse very well imo, i'd play my flopped 2p+ the same way too. so wp :f_biggrin:

so that's it, thanks for reading :f_biggrin:

underrated line? i think he calls much wider against this than against a c/r.

when they're looking for a reason to fold just give it to them

i know i have the best hand sometimes but he's nearly always c/f on this card so i rather try to steal the pot against Ax. if he c/c a non-flush or c/r then congrats to him :f_biggrin:

def have superawesome odds as i can get at least a potsize bet from a T on a jack, def only getting one bet in on a 6 though (call or bet/fold)

River: ($3.15, 3 players) K♣

don't think utg has a flush, and also don't think these guys are sophisticated enough to c/r an Ax flush. if they c/c a flush that's noteworthy

i'm too tired to write a proper update but well, day wasn't the best.

not going to say it was super terrible because it wasn't, if i lost it's been 1 bi at most.
but the regs were always hitting, couldn't hit anything to barrel the fish, lost SO many small pots.
ended up also not playing A+ too obv

i had a few good hands though and actually handed out a set over set so the day is mehhh but def acceptable, if i didn't had these few good hands it would be super terrible.

here's a really terribly played hand vs 2-tabling tight player

ok

River: ($8.87, 2 players) Q♥

this is way too big, also not the best river. wtf worse am i expecting to be called by?

bb was a fish.
i really like his line actually, too bad for him i had top set. not sure i would be able to lay down AA to the turn c/shove.

against some genius perceived passive fish

have more badly played hands to post, but enough, don't want to go on.
would rate my technical game a 6/10 or something, luck about 4/10, would be like 2/10 but i coolered someone and rivered a split in a 3bet pot so it's ok

for those who don't happen to have a lot of experience with micros, when a fish limp/raises it's kings plus 90%+ of the time.
honestly believe it's not a mistake to fold queens vs his line

pt4 zoom isn't working properly once again.
i'd mostly still play anyway but today just not really feeling like it, whatever, going to do something else with my sunday. :f_biggrin:

[edit: OMGOMGOMG i already achieved the $1000 target! going to post some thoughts on nl10 later, in the while here's the graph. :f_biggrin: ]

yeah nl25 for sure :f_biggrin:
nl50 soon? :f_eek:

i'd write something about nl10 but my "first thoughts" post from one week ago pretty much has covered it already.

basically - people are TIGHT, so raise often and don't call that often. :f_biggrin:
i went on to check my assumptions with people i have 75+ hands on (not that many, mind you :f_biggrin: about 90) and the average vpip/pfr/3bet for that is about 18/15/6.
so there you go.

on postflop tendencies - when people check the flop stabbing with any two should generally be profitable.
floating (calling the flop) super wide doesn't work too well, had a slight loss floating with air and weak hands. i'd guess that's because they are tight -> ranges are strong -> you will be barreled often enough not to show a profit.

raises are always the nuts obv. :f_biggrin:
big $$$$ with set mining too

if someone's interested i can share my nl10 stats, not going to just post them here i guess, add me on community. :f_biggrin:

nothing special to report on nl25

lost 4 bucks. :f_biggrin: played like a retard though, should have been much worse.
pokertracker 4 hud issue still going and i blame that for tilting me very much :f_biggrin:

session report: (not going to post the hands because lazy and quite embarassed)
misplaced stats made me think that a passive fish was an aggrofish (-15bb)

then i went off to spew on a river call against a reg where there was busted fd but i was super obv not good because everything else on his range improved (-70bb)

made a quite bad flop c/c with nutgs+overs but the other guy had a set so i got paid (+70bb).

tried to drag on a bit but deep down i knew better so i just managed to stop eventually.
i'd rate my luck about 6/10, technical play 2.5/10

i'll stay at nl10 until pokertracker fixes their stuff (maybe for real eventually?), can't handle bad hud tilt induce + slight pressure from moving up again even though i've played over 100k hands at this limit already. :f_biggrin:

on good news:
people still seem to fold their blinds too much, also still folding too much vs small blind opens. FUN

yeah, raise turn is def worth consideration. he continues sets+ but i have top set :f_biggrin:
his sizing obv says that he has a strong hand (overpairs+), that said i am only beat by 76s and Q:c J:c.
as obv nuts line as it is, i think all in all raise turn is better, he folds overpairs, and maybe he just calls down 55 for 150bb, but i beat 99/88 and that's alright, should compensate for when he has 76s.

i wasn't afraid of a flush because of his sizings, he pretty much almost never has a fd.
if river completes draws it's still a bit awkward though, i probably lead/fold ~40% pot and he probably still calls worse (at least sets)

on zoom identifying people: yeah, it's important to read "unknowns".
i like to read on number of tables:

- someone playing 3-4 tables is likely to be a reg
- someone playing 1 table is likely to be a fish
- someone without a full stack is likely to be a fish (if he's playing 4 tables it's prob a mss reg though)
- someone playing 1 table AND without a full stack is super almost definitely a fish

2 tables is whatever, see how their stats develop. most likely won't be a huge fish though.

otherwise i also go with avatar/nickname/country stereotyped impressions, in that order. :f_biggrin:

Okay, thanks. Is there a way to include this in your HUD or do you check the client lobby?

ah interesting you pointed out his sizing = rarely a FD. its something i miss a lot. but also another reason to raise turn is because even if he doesn't have a FD another :spade: will be likely to shut him down and we miss value i think
