Hi Sigurthor,

You will be staked by Tribun, and yes in case you make it ITM you will need to send him half the winnings.

He will transfer you the buy-in shortly before the tournament begins :)

Best regards,
SoyCD

Will the teams have teamspeak channel or something?

we have the IRC channel, and all meet in the one channel. Its great fun.

I'm playing too(like every week). But I'm a bit pissed of becouse I couldn't qualify thought the FPP satellites and now I have to buy in with "real money". Spent 1200FPPs and couldn't win a god damn qualifier. And before that I was just playing them for rakeback and I busted out 7th in the 210FPP ones(6 paid) about 5 times in a row!!!!! I feel a bit sick ;(. On the plus side I did win a sunday 1mil qualifier so it balanced out a bit.

Anyway my luck sucks these last couple of days and I intend to change it by getting to the final table today :P I am determined, I am confident ad I WILL do it.

Please wish me some luck, I really need it :(

Hey guys- a few questions.
I won a compition and will be staked by Soy and I was wondering if I still need to pay him half of my winning even though I won a competition.
How do you make it onto a persons team?
How long does a round usually take?
Thanks :)

Hello thedahl,

Yes you won a competition for a "stake" so that you can basically play the 200k GTD without having to risk your own money. That means if you get ITM you have to send back half of whatever you win.

You get into one of the admin teams by finishing among the top 8 players of the community. You then automatically get a stake again next week. You can also "qualify" for a spot in the donkey team by being one of the first players to bust.

Its around 1,5-2 hours until the first players are ITM in the tournament.

Hope I answered all questions :)

Best regards
SoyCD

Thanks Soy :) Can you give me the stake so I can sign-up for the tourny? I set my alarm and everything so I'd wake up today.

There is a pretty detailed guide for IRC here: How to join the PokerStrategy IRC channel
