With the free offer of $10 from William hill, if i earned a bigger bank roll from this would i be able to withdraw that money? Or will i have had to deposit or anything first?

You can withdraw winnings usually, but problem is that you need to link your poker platform account with some payment processor or bank first and that is usually done by depositing from it

2. How does the free poker money work?
I received my free poker money. Can I really keep it?
The money is yours, but you have to collect at least 5 StrategyPoints (= $1 rake) within 14 days, otherwise the remaining money will be taken away. Please note that Bonus Points do not count.
As doctorkgb kindly pointed out, you will have to deposit in order to cash out (this is standard among poker rooms. You need to create a path to be able to withdraw the money.
