Busted the 8game thing. Couldnt get anything going for a long time oh well. Didnt play well either
Session's almost over, only thing running is the €10 big where I have quite a decent stack. Overall a pretty good session, played fine, made two ft's so far (apart from the €20 hot also the €20 deepshit, didn't get anything going and busted 7th). Will play a session tomorrow as well, then take a break on Saturday, watch the finale of CL with my friends and go into a full grind mode on Sunday.

Had some doubts along the way, on the ft bubble I lost with JJ vs. T5s for about 2/5 of my stack, then with KK to AK on the ft with 7 ppl left. Still won. Final hand was funny, guy made the most optimistic stack off ever:

Anyway obviously I'm incredibly happy with the way this session went, not often you make $1,7k The bad beat kinda hurts, but I'm sure I sucked out this hard or even harder at some point of the tournament as well. Overall I'm super happy with the way I played, didn't really make any huge mistakes. Also was doing really well in the $27 cubed scoop event, but then a guy decided to check/raise/call for 30bbs with K7o on 976ddx and rivered me, so there's that.
Tomorrow will be a day off as I already said. It's kind of a shame because tomorrow is the $55 6max PLO and $27 4max, two of the events that I was looking forward the most to.. But I promised my friends to go to the pub and watch the Champions League finals and I'm gonna do just that. Plus I really need some rest before the final day of SCOOP.
The old me would probably just tell my friends that I'm sick and grind, but I feel like after I got kicked out of school I was staying home grinding mtts far too much. It's really easy to fall into that kind of routine as a poker player, esp. if you play mtt's, and I definitely don't want to just play poker, sleep and eat and become anti-social, which is what happened to me last summer.
Get out and have some beers! Had that tendancy a few years back to stay in and not socialize - regret it now!

Sure, I mean look - when you're 80 and you try to think of the fun times you had when you were young, you wanna remember the fun times with your buddies, not grinding low stakes mtts for 10 hours every day. Balance in life is super important whatever you do, esp. if you play mtts for a living like me.
Can't even describe in words how big of a day today is. So many amazing mtts, huge prizepoools, this gon be gud. Or not. ♦
