(CO 22/18 reg)

SB fish (57/17) hence the call preflop.

Bet OTR to fold out AQ and worse or too optimistic? Lots of my draws have decent SD-value (=I will check back more often) so villain should not be very happy about c/calling anything that is not 2pair+ here.

Sizing?

U rep busted straight draws (89s) and spades. If he bets turn for thin value with AQ he probably never folds river. At least i wouldnt.

Bluff with your 4s5s or 89s, not your ace highs.

Not sure if he realizes that I am this wide here. Normally I wouldn't call lower than ATs here and 98s would also be pretty close between calling and folding pre. And if he doesn't then this spot sucks for him because ATs has the nutstraight, AJs 3rd pair and probably checks back. In that scenario 98s becomes pretty much the only hand that bricks.

And even with my wider range, I will have KQ, KJ, QJs, ATss for value, A2s-A9s (9 combos) of bluffs. I would raise weaker FDs and OESDs OTF. But villain doesn't obv know this, but it is still not like he is going to make a huge profit from calling so it'll be very close in his shoes either way. I might also flat hands like KK/AA given the fish in SB so all in all I can't see that it could be that bad to bluff here.

Thoughts?
