Maybe this hand is a bit too weak to donk? I tend to donk most of my valuehands when there is a multiway pot with one ore two more fish involved. This guy is however not really a huge whale so better to opt for a check and play it from there?
As played c/f turn? I doubt villain is betting here with anything worse with the fish in the pot and the huge likelihood of either one of us having an ace.
