Hey M,

I think you played it well. Only thing I would do different is bet 0.20 instead of .016. I think that gives enough more folding equity but 0.16 is also profitable.

Hy,
I bet 1/2 pot because i addapted to their stacks. On flop i dont think to go all in with them.

i actually prefer 1/2 pot here and i think checking back on the flop is a good alternative. this guy seems fishy and should be defending a fairly wide range from the blinds (30%+ of hands).

Thus, playing AJ high as a bluff catcher actually makes sense (vs a bad player who probably bluffs way too much and has a really wide range). by betting here, few worse hands fold and most better hands are always calling.

I play 5NL as well, and I've been working on flexing my bet sizes v different opponents.

Is it not fair to say that a bad players calling range v a half pot c bet or 3/4 pot c bet will be pretty much exactly the same?

As I play Zoom and players aren't paying the same attention to details, I've also started betting 55% pot when I miss the flop and a little higher than normal when it's for value. I've found that I seem to get just as many folds, from regs and bad players.

that seems like a reasonable game plan - I have to agree with you here. Players at lower limits are just missing out on the fine details that better players will definitely take notice of so you should be able to get away with such imbalances.

@Changnoi: Cum play with me and I'll take a note about your sizings... Just joking. But at least on NL10 quite many players are already attacking ~1/2 sizings, so you should be careful with that.
