You can do such a move, knowing your opponent does not 3bet but you don'T know if hes doing so and you are behind overall and there is no edge that would justify a turnraise, especially if he keeps betting with his busted gutshots and if he's that aggressive that he checkraises those on the Flop, i think he'll follow through with a certain amount of gutshotcombos.

So you get the same and it's not the only argument to prevent yourself from being faced with a 3bet on the Turn but you can safely fold to all hands like T J Q and you can safely call all the rest of your cards and i don't think that your opponent is folding a better hand. But the advantage of raising indeed is that you could make fold his gutshot hands. That would be an incorrect fold as he does have 10 outs against your specific hand. But from the stats he doesnt look as if hes the type of guy who's basically checkraising that much gutshot combinations.

Raise is viable but as a defaultplay: calldown.
