Should I have value bet river? Once it was called on turn should I have assumed I was ahead?

Edit: I only just saw now in elephant how to only post the people's stats who saw the flop, I apologise for this post and my other my future ones will be better.

hi chazza
flop bet should be standard. there is a high chance that you are still ahead and if not you might have a lot of outs.
turn would be another bet for me. after the donk i think i would just call down and bet the river if he checks. maybe he has some kind of two pair and we don´t want him to fold a worse hand. so i think i just call and let him bluff if he wants to.
as played i guess i bet the river to get a crying call from a worse flush or some other crazy oldings like two pair or something like that. i don´t see us being beat very often here because he would have definately 3-bet a K high flush. i think it´s more likely that he has something like the 8
