Villain is a reg with 18/17/3bet-5.7 on 376 hands .

He opens from CO I call on the BU with KJs. The flop is 2JK of spades. He bets and i raise 4x, he calls. The turn is Qh and he checks. maybe he has the A of spades and i decided to bet for value and protection and he shoves. I dont think that i can call . When he checks the turn its ok to bet or not? Thanks!

Hi dragobeteeee,

Preflop: given his smaller raise we can also 3-bet here.

Postflop: As played you are definitely right to bet the turn for pure value/protection.

Once he raises I agree with the fold.
