♠_cool: add me on Skype sir and we'll figure out when and where to meet.
Hi yo TwiceT.
I have read some of your blog lately.
I am glad that you're doing fine ♦
Keep doing this good work! You re awesome ♠_thumbsup: ♠_thumbsup:
Long time we don't chat, so I wanted to say hi! ![]()
I am very eager to know some details about your business ventures. I searched a bit and didn't found much information, it seems like a lot is secret
I am sure there is information that is already public and you could share your challenges and how you struggled to overcome. Of course future plans should be left as secrets, but your past development should be biographed ![]()
Oh, and will you release this type of information in your new book? If you are not planning to, consider a second thought. And please, consider releasing an ebook. You have a global network and chances are, a hard copy won't be reachable in Brazil and many places. I like google play books, easy to buy and read on your mobile.
Peace!
Hi TwiceT,
would be nice if you would post your opinion about the pokerindustry atm and in the near future (lets say next 2 years). I dont wanna ask you on Skype cause I guess youre a very busy man, and if you post it here everybody can read it.
-Whats your opinion about the profitability (? correct grammar?) of Online Poker for the next few years?
- Whats your opinion about the new owner of Pokerstrategy?
Maybe its a chance to get another Antagonist to the nearly monopollike Structures from Pokerstars atm?
Cheers
Falco

All private companies, you won't find too much info online which is actually good. Don't worry, sooner or later we are going to change the industries we are operating in and you might hear about us. You can be sure that I'll fight like Rocky and will focus my energy on making a positive impact and question the status quo every single day of my life for an even better future, soon partying with Elon Musk on Mars anyway hahah ♦
I am involved in many projects and companies and it's probably save to assume that I will share my experiences one day - not now though, give me a few more years ![]()
Our poker book will be out in e-book format as well and in case I'll write another book on other topics they will most likely be published as e-books as well.

The games will stay decently tough but for those who outwork their opponents there will always money to be made. Online is ofc tougher than live. MTTs will probably always be soft, fish just see the massive payouts and regard it like a lottery. For everyone approaching the game professionally there will always money to be made, but that won't be possible without great work ethics, a lot of dedication and commitment.
If there should be a monopoly in Poker it should be lead by Rational Entertainment imo. PS/FTP do a good job for the fact that they dominate the market so hard. It is necessary though that a strong #2 is being formed and I am still surprised that PartyPoker couldn't fill that spot. I thought Party.bwin will work with another network like iPoker or 888 to form a strong player on the market, but that didn't happen. Given the market environment for affiliation PokerStrategy's decision seems to be a good one, the management team surely know what they are doing. They can now fully focus on their new projects lead by Tradimo. Online Poker Affiliation had its time, but the business is not as easy as it was 2010 and earlier. The old school community feeling might get lost a bit with the founder Dominik not being active now any more, many coaches have left over the years and I can only suspect the direction the new owner is going to take. Short term I dont think you will see many changes, most users wont recognize the change. Longterm there will be strategic changes ofc which is perfectly fine. Standing still is always one step back, nothing stays forever. No market can be exploited as hard as the poker market has been between 2003 and 2010. Both from affiliation side as well as from Poker Pro perspective. It was just a question of time until the environment adjusts and now we have clearly entered a consolidation phase: Players (only the best survive, only the best approaches/mindsets have a chance), Affiliates, Poker Rooms ....
The industry gets tougher for all participants. However, tougher from a very soft level. If you compare it with other industries, especially from a grinder's perspective there are not many jobs out there that can potentially allow you to make so much money and have such an instant feedback. You dont get this kind of instant feedback in many other areas of professional life (as a teacher, an entrepreneur, an investor ... ). Also you can make money and being only responsible for yourself. As a pro I knew that I am working harder than everybody else. If I found somebody working harder, I just moved my efforts to another level. In business I am just one part of many teams. This is way harder to deal with as you cannot directly influence all the actions. This is way tougher for a mindset. I'd love to have only 100% focused and intrinsically motivated people around me who always push themselves over the limits and set new ones, but thats not always the case. At least not to my understanding, maybe to the one of the majority. I never liked walking on the path of the majority though, I think often they are just lazy and dont consider the facts (energy industry is such a good example). Poker allows you to only be responsible for the outcome yourself, not often in life thats the case. You should love that fact + the freedom this game offers. Whatever we flame about in poker is flaming on a very high level ofc. I'd rather be happy to have (had) this great opportunity and make the most of it. In some cases it means grinding and travelling the world, in others it means financing education and in others it means saving a few bucks for an entrepreneurial life to come after grinding.
I think PokerStrategy + Playtech should have a positive impact to the industry as it developed. I think status 2008 was best, but we cant get that back (PS trying to get best deals for all users, a highly competitive market and for players there were plenty of fish around). As for the PokerSchool itself I don't know if there will be any changes, I dont see any in the short run. Dami and Pavel are going to run it as it was before, maybe even a bit more professional but not as close to the user like we have been used to. Having the CEO and founder on the forums on a daily basis was clearly exceptional for a company of that size (I guess valued at least 10 times higher than the selling price now a few years ago in 2010 or so). I can see coaches being closer to the community though, I dont see the necessity of the management board to be too active mostly, I think the biggest mistake in the past was to invite "random" Pros to PokerStrategy, hyping them, paying them too much money and then obv not getting them involved in the community at all. Those things hurt way more than a different structure of ownership which most users dont care about too much. Pleno & Co did change that lately and the direction for most users should be fine imo, we'll see what the future brings. Too much speculation hurts, we can't influence that anyway.
I have to agree with most of your statements. Thanks Mister for your long and clear answer!

- PLO HU/SH/FR up to 1k
- NLHE/PLO HU SNG up to 300Over the last years I've coached many players from several countries on different game formats and limits. I have a good idea where small and midstakes players make their biggest mistakes and what's necessary to turn those weaknesses into pure powerrrrr and stop leaking money on the tables. Not only do I have quite some experience in coaching others through videos, group and private coachings, I've also been grinding an insane amount of hands in NLHE and PLO live and online which provided me with a ton of experience which I will try to transfer to my students.
