PLO100 - TPTK 3bet pot

Hi,

why the small flop bet? You are giving such a good price to hands that might call you. I'd bet 17$ here. I really don't want to give someone with a hand like 8765 a reason to call here; i'd prefer those hands to fold to my bet. It seems this player really doesn't like to fold, so why not go for max value with our TPTK? Also, you can on some turns just pot it and commit yourself. With your sizings it's much harder.

Turn is interesting. I might bet even smaller, something like $18 here. It's the same i would do with a straight here, so why not with my weak hands? However, if the opponent is agressive he will semibluff raise the turn often, so a check back works well vs those opponents to avoid them bluffing you off your equity.

But definetly bet bigger otf, make life easier for yourself on the later streets.

Vs an agro player this is an easy bet/call imo, especially bvb. Our hand actually plays better than AAxx, cause we have hands that might c/r like KQJT crushed here.

Also, we will get a lot of folds when we cbet flop, and if we do get raised, we are always priced in.

Remember, hero doesn't always 3bet only Txxx and AAxx here, so this board will often miss him completly, and a c/r has a lot of FE.

I bet small OTF cause it's so dry. And I don't want to bet 17$ on a board like this when I've air, so I don't bet that also when I don't have air. I think he will call with a pair here anyway.

Well you can bet small with your nut and air hands. But i wouldn't bet small with the hand that i have. The hand is the nuts otf, but there will be a LOT of ugly turns for us, so i want to make it bigger to get a fold. It's not like it's a big secret that we want villain to fold here. We always do in 3b pots unless we have a huge equity advantage vs his stackoff range with sets and pairs+monster wraps.

I dont think he peels 17 with a 5, but he definetly does 11.

your turn bet looks like nutz or nothing, and I think you will nothing most of the time. If you have some history with villian he can exploit you here very good, and it's really hard to balance it good.

I do bet the flop 15$ too. I think having to different betsizes with different parts of your range is good, but this can only gain a small edge if you do it right, but cost a lot of money if you doing it bad.
