Hi mate,

I am reading as many blogs as possible, I am still learning some basic things so not sure that I have got this right, please tell me if you don't like the question and I will remove the post.

From SS 9 Jun to 13 Aug, showed 6.6k loss in sng's at abi of approx. $10. have I got that right, if so 660 BI down swing? I have heard of 100/200 bi downswing but... have I got that right ? And if so how do you handle it.

Steve

Yep its certainly possible. I also made back the downswing in a little over the last week. Up 5k or 500 buyins since august 14th. Its likely I started doing a few leaks but variance is alot sicker them most people realize.

Me and a few friends ran some simulations last week. For a 15% roi player (which is me basically) at the 15's a 95% projectile swing over 10k games is anywhere from I think +35 or 50k cant remember to -6k. It could run worse or better but thats where you run 95% of the time in a 10k sample at the 15$ 180 sngs.

If you sharkscope shen888 you will see a few similiar downswings he has a huge sample of the 180's. He has alot more sings near the end too likely because the games are much tougher and theres no way hes holding 20% roi anymore.

Thanks for the reply,

"shen888" f. me as Mr Punch would say " That's the way to do it". He sure does like the 180's. His graph as so many hands and so much up up up, hard to see a downswing:(

He is in a 2cent 990 peeps at the moment, maybe he spent all his $$ on a shed load of sweets :)

lol rly. There hard to notice in such a big graph but he has quite a few 10k game breakeven stretches.

You are an absolute beast Target. I have really enjoyed reading this blog.

I used to play starcraft: broodwar a long time ago as well. I remember seeing and playing against you many times.

I'm getting into poker now. There is an incredible amount of knowledge to learn. I'm working hard everyday to learn more and more. Blogs such as this are a huge inspiration.

Sorry to read about your panic attack struggles. I am going through them as well, and also feel that there is more going on. Dealing with the anxiety/fear of dying on a daily basis SUCKS!

Keep working hard and living the good life.
