SB: $24.57 (245.7 bb)
Hero (BB): $12.32 (123.2 bb)
UTG: $32.17 (321.7 bb)
MP: $12.78 (127.8 bb)
CO: $26.50 (265 bb)
BTN: $26.74 (267.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K J
2 folds, CO raises to $0.30, BTN calls $0.30, SB folds, Hero raises to $1.30, CO calls $1, BTN folds

Flop: ($2.95) 4 5 3 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.70, CO calls $1.70

Turn: ($6.35) J (2 players)
Hero bets $3.50, CO folds

Results:

Spoiler

$6.35 pot ($0.31 rake)
Final Board: 4 5 3 J
Hero mucked K J and won $6.04 ($3.04 net)
CO mucked and lost (-$3 net)

Stats:30/17/0,0/84 hands FT3b 50% FTCB:33/100/- ....too low sample but it looks like some fishy player and quite passive.

Preflop it's standard squeez 13bbs.

Co calls,button folds.

On the flod I dont have anything but I want to make him fold AX and KX hands + I have some equity with overcards.

He calls.

Turn is good for me because I dont think he would float with AJ and I beat his pocket pairs now I mean 88-TT ...maybe he could have set with 33,44,55 or QQ but I think betting is better because board is wet and he can call once again with pocket pair.

What do you think ?

Isnt better to give up one the flop ? _cry:

Hi SmallestShark,

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: Given the board texture and our hand I would not cbet the flop without the intention to barrel higher cards.

I can't see villain ever folding a better hand especially since he looks partially fishy.

Ax and Kx hands do not fold the flop imo.

As played turn bet is definitely fine.

Pretty much,

Against a fish I'd just check/fold more often than barrel without any backdoor equity.
