My two cents:
I dont like that shove for the following reasons:
1)You dont have fold equity
2)you are shoving a dominated Ace which is not suited.
3)Plus you are facing an open from utg who will have a stronger range
Also you are on the button. You have 6-7 hands until the blinds get to you so you still have some time to act
In Gary's defence, I would like to say "You had to be there".
I was railing and skyping with Gary throughout and since he had 40k+ he was card dead. Only 3 playable hands.
AA in the BB. Everyone folded. 
A5o and 66 on 2 successive orbits couldn't be played because guy on direct right open shoved.
There were no opportunities to steal from late positions because pot was always being opened from early position.
With what was also happening in his other tourney's, it was an extremely frustrating night.
With the table dynamic, I would have done the same.
Which is why I forgive him even though I had bought some of his action.

Yep, I understand that it wasn't the "greatest" of shoves but one borne out of frustration. I know I had 6-7 hands more but as Laz said the amount of "gay waiters" I'd been seeing the previous 2 hours I took a chance and unfortunately it did not pay off.

I'm still happy with my shove there. It is -EV but I think we can get called by worse,
