Got a F**King £60 parking ticket in the post today from 2 weeks ago GRIMSBY!

Who the F**K builds a gym with no where to park?! haha absolute wankers! .. ah well something along the lines of no pain no gain right? didn't think it'd hurt that much!

Watched This vid today but didnt take too many notes on it. It's a good video but the concepts are very spot specific and although i learned alot i think i should go for a theory video of some sorts next time around and try really get into it that way.

Set myself a little challenge of not spazzing off a stack from now untill the end of the week. Time to be held accountable!

Can I suggest that you extend that challenge until.....forever

Ahhh...the joys of car ownership. 120bb parket ticket...bad beat Next time you hit the gym ask them where they expect people to park!
(30 yr old who has never owned or driven a car here btw)

Haha Matt! Probably a better idea. I'm not all there though and forever is a very long time! Hopefully keep wittling you down on skype so your 2-3 week break becomes a 1week recovery session and you can ball Zoom asap! ♠_cool:

Not been able to post as much as work has been busy and wanting to get as much play time in as possible to try reach 18h played time and managed to put in a big 7h+ session today even though at first my frame of mind was pretty terrible for the first 30mins/1hour but took a break and regathered and managed to carry on playing.

Made some ridiculous miss clicks like cold calling a huge 20bb 3bet with 59s and other random shiz. Very frustrating! And Asif being 350bb down wasn't bad enough my battered old trusty steed that has been a great servant for the past 8 years decided its finally time to stop being a chair and break

Rest in pieces .. Anyone got any good tips for a bad ass replacement? haha

My play overall today hasn't been great but managing to put in a big session at c+ is abit of a plus because i would normally just quit for the day when down so much at -350bb but managed to half the deficit currently to -170bb so not so bad even after being on the receiving end of some bad board run outs and a couple of coolers and only 2% off $50 chunk of the bonus so it wont end a totally disastrous day!

I don't know whats gone on with my game just recently but there seems to be a huge switch around in SD winnings and NONSD winnings Probably just being over aggro in bad spots and getting lucky but haven't spewed off a BI since wed!

NL50 Up to now:

I was planning on merging my winnings from Pokerstars with my BR on PKR at the end of the month and maybe shotting NL100 if BR permits but i think i'll just use it to pay for a DB analysis by w34z3l and pay for some more session with Erik. Can imagine w34z3l to be gobsmacked at how bad i play but unless you get the brutal honest truth you're never gonna be great!

Really happy with the way the sessions are going with Erik and if anyone has any mental game poker related problems or even just IRL stuff thats fucking up your shit then i can't recommend him enough. Not going to lie and say it's cheap because to me personally its alot of $$$ but what you get out the sessions is worth infinite amounts in value. So don't hesitate and just do it. What have you got to lose!

Seriously considering putting 2 - 3 hours a week into HU play. Would really love to learn it but still think it might do more damage than good atm so probably just stick to luckboxing 6max ♦

DB analysis is always useful - I only had around 20k sample when I did mine but you should have plenty more than that I'm sure. I'd be interested to hear what the man w34z3l says

As for HU....brave move. I hear it can be insanely good for your poker development. Forcing you to think pretty much every hand about board textures/ranges/lines. Pretty intense though, GL if you do it!

Hey Dawidas Cheers for the post dude, had a totally crazy week IRL and started seeing some smoking hot girl too so poker has took a real backseat this week. Hopefully get things back to normal for a couple of weeks before Benicassim though!

As far as the poker i did play this week it went really terribly, my sessions were just odd half hours / hours here and there and my thought process and decision making was well off. Made some really ridiculous calls and other things but it's cool, nobodys perfect! haha

Had the DB review with w34z3l and he said most things were looking really good. He said for my overall graph to look like it is with the relation between SD and NONSD winnings to be as it is i'd have to be absolutely crushing life or it's gonna be affected by variance (sick heater for real) but he did say its mixed in with some really good play so pretty happy things SHOULD (barring this week) be heading in the right direction!

Was seriously considering trying to take advantage of July's Level Up promotion and grind Diamond to attend Budapest but talked with Erik and he said what i knew deep down but i guess setting something like aiming for Paris is something thats not unrealistic and a good goal to aim for. Plus its far enough away for it not to have an impact on my immediate game.

PS: Platinum doesn't look all that bad

Looking to get back into poker after a small hiatus and was wondering how the world of poker is faring 5 months on?

Still got most my funds on PKR and have more than enough to start plying NL50 again but gonna start off with a month or so at NL25 just to get the feel for things again.

Obviously all flop FD's play this way but he could quite have easily called his sets on the flop and planned on raising the turn? When we hit our set are we just happy stacking off? Worse sets will probably call us but obv all hands that beat us too however we still have chance to resuck.

Decided to get brave and play a little NL50 yesterday which went absolutely horribly Lost a BI but not complaining. serves me right for being silly haha!

Hi, sorry I didn't reply very soon, was busy getting a new blue avatar and stuff.

Now, I am playing nl25 because I basically blew through nl10 like it wasn't there, after taking about 4 months to beat nl4!
Last few days I've been getting crushed by the drunks late at night [ by crushed I mean minus over 10BI]so don't know if it's sustainable for my br now (600-give or take a few $).

I would be up for a sweat session but I'm still a fish and you may be too far ahead and get bored...I'm also trying not to be a nit but it aint working.

I do suggest you exercise a little patience there buddy and play nl25 for a bit, just until you get the training wheels off again. You won't be long I think.

Yesterday went So-so starting to think things through abit better but still no way near where i want to be. Seems like AJ has become a problem hand again, can't remember what the hell to do with it. If i'm oop vs X guy and i'm 3betting do i 3bet for value or as a bluff? Can i call it profitably oop?!

I think maybe falling over drunk has given me a slight case of Poker amnesia

5 strategy points off being silver too which is annoying as i don't have access to the silver hand evaluation forums Ah well waiting another day wont hurt too much

On a positive note got a letter through off the royal mail saying i've been given 517 free shares which are currently worth about £2,900 and will be given 94 more at the start of next years tax year. Woo! free monies is always a bonus ... not being able to sell them for 3 years is a pain in the arse but can see it being a nice little rainy day fund when the time comes!
