Played a league game yesterday, we lost 3-9 against the n1 team in the league, I could never get into the game as all goals were just shitty ones/mistakes of defenders and am feeling down a bit now.

so far 5k hands this month. I am trying hard to continue focusing on ranges of both myself and the opponent, and instead of playing my 2 cards consider my strategy first in terms of my range v his range and then the 2 cards just fall into the ranges I've decided upon.

I'm rly tired feeling bad and it's raining outside but I will force myself to go the gym. In all fields anyone can push hard and keep doing things when things are going well and when you have the energy, but it's the people that keep going even when things are going backwards and that do the right things even thought they might hate doing them in the moment that eventually make it, and that's how I want to live.

Are you down? Can't control yourself? Delay important things and seek immediate gratification, i/e/ can't do what's right? Low or depleted Serotonin might be the reason. Somnius has a great series here on PS, and today when I got ucked out on KK v QQ in a morning sesh I could feel the symptoms falling down upon me.

went for gym and sauna/pool today and then felt asleep when I came hope uncontrollably, starting grind now will post le update after I finish today

Ok so today I turned into an aggro monkey in my first session after 6hrs of sleep =>Gym=>Sana/jacuzzi 2hrs=>3hr sleep after lunch.

Got stacked in retarded situations EV wise, had a couple weak guys on my right and went just berserk, payed pretty much my 2 cards again instead of thinking my range/strategy through, too every edge and called whenever I could. I took a break and regained control in the latter part and started playing my range and much less crazy again.

My range here is JJ+, good amount of flushdraws with broadways, and I cf this flop ALOT so check shoving a hand like JJ along with strong draws should be guarantee +ev and it's just great to have this hand in my range as my check shove range is very draw heavy and the added gutter and backdoor fd gives me at least some equity vs sets.

I expect him to call all them 99 hand like he has AT etc. hands and he should hate life but prolly call with all nutfd and combo draws too.

Only thing is if the guy check back a lot, but most regs fire here as I am and will be expected to check fold shitloads of time with all my AQ AJAK tpe stuff.

frankly I think I suck too much today and will take a break. I dled pokeranger and will try to work that thing a bit as that kind of stuff should be a good start to taking more mathematical approach to the range construction that I do with only guessing game/basic odds.

Although that stuff seems boring/scary to start working with to be honest, I get bored fast but I will try to force myself to go through Bogdan's video today I promise

What the hell?! That's really impressive. I made like 700 dollars in my first 7 months I believe... Good luck with the marathon.

Yeah when I started I played a ton studied always sessions like these were in there and I binked $1400 in FPP tourney at that point too. I was idolising great players and even had some great grinders on Skype and was moving rapidly and watched hundreds of hours of vids and read all articles on here.

But unlike many I didn't make the decision to drop out and instead went even harder with fulltime placement with coursework on top that pretty much completely stalled my poker progress and I never got to the level of intensity like when I was starting out, and it turned into a hobby where I picked up so many bad habits.
Well still got a good degree and good work experience out of it, invaluable for my future life indeed so no regrets.

And the best thing about poker is that it's never too late so I am at least trying to get to the levels I was on back in the day.
For example this was my 4 tabling challenge at NL50 at the beginning of '10

but yeah I'm getting there. At the moment I can make a living at NL16 because of the super low expenses but plan is to move up this month for longer spells, or at least 30% volume at NL50. I'm old though and feel reluctant to do it because there's little worry of downswings at NL16 when I maintain 7bb+winrate, also I'm tired a lot because of my training regime (I lost 10kg since I arrived in August)

Anyway this month so far 21hrs, have 19 hours to go until the end of the week so well on track, am also +$30 in MTT and a bit of rakeback through 235fpp sats.

BR is at about $1530 with this month's expenses already paid. When I hit $1600 I'll put $600 in Microgaming for some 20Euroaments and take it from there. The dude that plays 10k hands per day has the coaching pretty much locked unless he burns up hard but I'll maybe use my onetime for goodiebag

also I have no idea how to track time spent on watching shows/facebook etc. so I'm failing in that objective for this month.
If someone has a good pointer for a freeware that would do that for me I'd very much appreciate it.

THe weekend! 5.5hrs today and tomorrow I plan the biggest day of the week with - gym 9am then all poker fpp freeroll and I'll play one more MTT.

12.5hrs from 40hr week (im cheating and including last Sunday when I was supposed to take abreak but played anyway), i will try to wipe at least 8 hours off that tomorrow for an easy Sunday.

Already have punishment on MOnday - 10 400m laps on Monday morning, as I went out after a local amateur floorball tournament (won 1-0 stopped 25 shots ♦) and had 4 beers and 4 shots. Ran bad tho and didn't pull - and when I almost did my friend disappeared and I had to look for him to make sure he's not in a gutter. She wasn't rly that good looking, but you know - sometimes you have to stop being a nit and widen your range

Gym in the morning, collaped and slept for 2 hours in the afternoon and total of 6.5 hours today:

Played NL50 too and the $40 was from there pretty much otherwise breakeven NL16, made quite a lot of mistakes today in the morning especially as I got too cocky, and the dip near the end is one of them stretches when you hit the bottom of your range against their top. MTTs were a fail today, played one big MTT and 2 freerolls and busted out of all on first level. Tomorrow is 5.5hrs push to get them 40 hours week.

I still can't focus properly and watched some shows and went on the internet for good stretches today while grinding - If I manage to avoid that it should add a lot to my winrate, rly need to find a program that measures time spent on shows etc. Found something called Grindstone but there is no resume button and when you stop one instance of a task you can't resume it but it starts again - so I'd have to add that shit at the end of the day/week and it seems like too much hassle.

I need to focus on rest/scheduling because next week will be brutal - we are travelling for floorball over the weekend so I'll get max 8hrs in Saturday Sunday so I will have to grind over 6 hours every day MOnday- Friday with 6 hours of training, a 4km run and a gym session inbetween all that.
