Comment:

Correct me if i'm wrong but i think i actually could have called here and draw to a straight or a boat since he has alot of 8x in his range and i don't think this player would have folded trips even when there's 4 cards to a straight and about the implied odds, i don't think there should be a problem to get at least $1,50 from him on the river, possibly his whole stack but ofc i could be drawing to 2 outs but i think if i hit one of the 6 outs on the river, i think i'm gonna be good most of the times...?

Hi,

If he seems rather passive then b/f is fine, if he is aggressive then I would prefer calling him down.
If I call turn then I would likely fold on big bet on the river and would c/c him down on 8,T turn and c/rai if I hit J.
