PokerStars - $0.25 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

MP: $34.17
CO: $15.09
BTN: $25.00
Hero (SB): $35.64
BB: $25.00
UTG: $19.01

Hero posts SB $0.10, BB posts BB $0.25

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero has J♠ K♦

fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.75, BB calls $0.50

Flop: ($1.50, 2 players) J♥ K♥ 8♦
Hero checks, BB checks

Turn: ($1.50, 2 players) 9♣
Hero bets $1.00, BB calls $1.00

River: ($3.50, 2 players) 5♦
Hero bets $2.50, BB raises to $6.00, Hero calls $3.50

Villain is unknown .
On flop i whanted to ch/r. After turn i was bit suprised with raise on river i see it like this - I need 29% equity to call this

www.pokerstrategy.com
Board: 8dKhJh9c5d
Equity Win Tie
SB 25.00% 25.00% 0.00% { KdJs }
BB 75.00% 75.00% 0.00% { 99, K9s-K8s, QTs, J9s, T7s, 76s, K9o, QTo }

So if i hive him only value hands( lets say he never bluffs ) it turn out that i dont have enough equity with my top 2 ?! And i generaly stick to rule that i would call if I am at top off my range so should i call or not spot like this ?

Hi,

His river valuerange are worse two pair hands, so you can´t b/f top twp pair hands.
If you´re loosing then mostly to 76 or 55 type hands, but at the same time he can also raise you with 98 or J5s type hands.
I would expect most unknown players to bet QT on the flop

best regards,
