Hi guys,
I have no reads or stats on villain, it was begining of the session. Is this stupid call against his range ? If you think that it is mistake what range do you give him here and what hand do you need to call this bet ? I will write my toughts about this hand after get some advices from you :)

i don't like it without reads.
he could very well have a pot controlled AA or a slowplayed K, and you don't know if he is capable of vbetting thin with say JJ-QQ

but if you caught his bluff, nice brag

He is almost never bluffing here. People tend to play more straightforwardly in 3-bet pots, especially on this kind of board. So a fold is in order :)

i'd bet closer to 32$ on the flop.

i like the call. he's repping the bdflush draw only really, and i don't feel he floated for that. if he checked back with KQ or AK (and usually they'd 4bet AK pre), gj.

i think it's quite close anyway on the river, and a call isn't bad imo.

I like the betsizing on the flop. You can afford to bet less in 3-bet pots as Villain will most likely play fit or fold on this kind of flop. If he has 99- or any other random hand (like a suited connector) he's probably giving up, if he hit or still thinks he has the best hand he will call. Far more often than not you're not going to fire a second barrel without improvement, but in case you do, a smaller betsize on the flop makes the turnbarrel cheaper. If you do improve, you have more chance of suckering him in with the best hand.
On the river, I just don't see what you're beating. If he is purely floating or has a random draw he is betting the turn, therefore he more likely has a hand that's decent but is going for pot control. And judging by his betsizing on the river, he's taking you to valuetown. How many hands that AQ-high beats would play like this? AJ and AQ in rare circumstances, and that's about it. Add to that the fact that he's unknown (therefore, you're unknown to him as well), and that makes that he probably isn't taking this funky line with a random air anyway.

Thanks for your opinions guys.

I called becouse as chenny said he is repping only bd flushdraw. K-x always bets turn becouse there is flush draw, some straight draws and he has to build the pot.

I think that most players aren't capable of thin value betting with JJ or T-x type of hands.

I put him on QJ or AJ that peel flop with oesd/ gutshot + over.

Villain thought process " I have some outs so I'll call and see if I hit, on turn he checks to me so I'll take a free card, on river he checks again, he probably has nothing so I will bet to make him fold his A-high or low pocket'.

What draw could he possibly have? The only thing that makes sense is QJ and possibly AQ, seldom J9. Of those hands, the spade combinations hit on the river, and AQ has some showdownvalue so he might check that behind on the river. So basically only the non-spade QJ and J9-hands will really qualify, which is a very small part of a standard 3-bet coldcalling range preflop.
