After I imported a 600k hands from a database from the German forum, I got 40000 duplicates. Now Yoghi once told me that I should prevent getting too much duplicates because my Elephant will slow down.
Now I'm experiencing a slow-down in Elephant, so is there some way I can remove the duplicates, or another way to fasten it up again?

Duplicates doesnt' really matters for the performance. Duplicates say that either the hands are already imported or that the hands are SNG hands which aren't supported yet. The performance thing is something we need to work on. So it may be normal that it is a little bit slower.
how your works?
i hope elephant will work faster. anyway: can i use multicore processor (like quad or x3) to make it faster. or thay way it works make no use of multicore (sth about threads but i dont know)
