In my opinion the car went downhill when I combined PKR tables with zoom, and still my Stars game is far below where it was just a month ago...
What annoys me is that I was close to a BR where I could afford a package of solid coaching and finally start crushing NL10 on regular basis, and after November, I am hundreds away from my goals, and my game is for some reason getting just worse, but at least it gives me material to keep the blog name as is 
At least I got 7.5$ on week 1 and 15$ on week 3 of mission weeks, so free moniez ♠_cool:
Off poker
So celebrated Bday No. 29 on Monday, had friends over and had a lot of fun, @ one moment I showed mission weeks on the big screen TV and we all cheered for those coin flippers, winning two for 15$, and got mocked from friends saying "so this is the poker you are talking about, you just sit there and hope for good luck", well I had no arguments to prove them wrong, so I just switched back to music and turned off PStars ♦
Last night the first snow started falling so I guess winter has officially come to my city as well.
I like winter and I like skiing but not in a city, and not with so many bad drivers who make traffic collapse with first snowflakes that drop on the road...

By far the worst results in my poker career, it was just sad how I got played by everyone @ the tables, mostly with the same pattern: Starting the session full of confidence, then losing an AI hand with 80%+ odds, and then just started donating money to everyone...
Did not learn not to tilt, did not learn to stop loss, did not learn not to chase fish... At least I realized why am I still on NL10 although I was comfortably rolled for NL25

So what can I really say, after three months of playing good poker, without really much time for it, I had lots of more free time in November, but ended up losing 1/3 of my bankroll on not so many hands...
Interesting thing is that, as I said in previous posts, I had a lot of birthdays, anniversaries, parties during whole month, so in a way that can compensate for my mood, and since most of the loses where either bad luck or bad play by me, so I am returning a right mindset, and getting ready for a month in green
Actually thanks to RB & FDB & Stellar & Level UP my loses for the month are cut in half, so why did I even start whining? (oh yeah, BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT I DO )
I did set some goals for myself for December, and January probably...
Since my BR reached its peak in October @ ~1200$, and then it has dropped to ~720$
now after RB it is ~900$ my goal is to bring it to 1100$, which is doable in a month or two, and then set aside 400$ for coaching, as it is clear that I won't improve enough just by myself, and 700$ is more than enough for NL10 with proper coaching IMO
Will blab more in couple of next posts about goals and off poker stuff

We are kinda in the same situation regarding the realization that we need coaching to take it to the next level, though my BR is a bit smaller then yours I have somewhat the same plan.
Just keep you head up and stay focused!

Thx man, I'm a lot more focused, and a much less spewy when playing with goals set, so this goal could improve my insanely bad play from November (fingers crossed )

Wanted to treat myself something for my patron saint day, and boy was I close to enter my biggest buyin tournament ever (it's only 215$) so far 22$ was my biggest buyin.....
Ahhhhhhh I was so exited but I was never close...
Actually we started heads up with 2850 to 150 chips in his favor, managed to win two all ins and reach ~700 chips, but ran with J9s into KJ and that was it
About my previous post, I would just like to state that from now on, every Sunday (if I am @ home), I will do one double shootout satellite for Sunday Million for 7.25$, cause I am still under influence how close I was to make it to WCOOP event

@ PKR I thought that my FDB deadline was on 27th, but actually its tomorrow morning, so I tried to mix NL10 and NL25 to clear another ~50$ chunk, but I'm too tired to complete it, so I posted a couple of questions on PKR forum, cause if bonus is deducted from rakeback, I don't have to clear it, but if not then bye bye ~45$, screw it I can grind that in 1h, don't believe:

See the upswing on last 300 hands? that's today mixing NL10 and NL25, I should record a session like that mixing 2 tables from each, cause I play NL25 as a super nit, and NL10 as a LAG, today it worked 
As for Christmas promos (though I am Orthodox Christian, and celebrate the holiday on January 7th) I applied for a coaching from Jules97, hope he agrees on it, and also I have to thank Holmeboy who offered to do a sweat session sometime around New Years, so I really hope that would improve my NL10 game, and give me strength to finally start playing NL25 regularly!

No actual conclusions have a blast during holidays and keep reading my blog
Year almost gone, so this will probably be the last update for 2013. Since I started my blog on January 4th, the first post in 2014. will most probably be a yearly wrap up with lots of interesting and some weird conclusions!

Most important thing is that I have completed the one and only goal for the month, and that was to recover the losses from November. Not very satisfied with the volume, expected to play a lot more since I had almost no work at all, but somehow always had some real life things to do, but I don't regret it.
I will write more about my vision of this year poker wise in the mentioned yearly update.
One interesting thing: Saturday night we were supposed to go to a party at our newly built club on water, and it was supposed to be costumed party. Before we went there I opened Stars to follow Thorek a little bit, as I staked him for his Saturday grind, and saw that he entered 30.000$ weekly freeroll for which I was also eligible. So I entered as well thinking: "OK so I will play like a maniac for the first 30minutes and probably bust out", but somehow managed to double my stack twice. As it was time to leave for the party, I instantly got the idea to go dressed as....poker player: black shirt,pants and shoes, sun glasses, panama hat, some chips from Vegas, dollar bills for tips, and of course my Mrs. as my lucky charm. Took my tablet as well to continue with freeroll once we get there. when we came everybody said "oh You came dressed as pimp", then I sat at the bar opened Stars and put my chips next to it, to make it more obvious about. While i played friends were coming over and cheering for every shove, some not understanding, and some thinking it was a cash game and watched with open mouth how my stack grew in thousands of dollars ♠_cool:
I used every break to dance with Mrs. and mingle a little bit, but once I busted out around midnight ( AJ<A10, 84th for 39$) there was plenty of time to party 
Absolutely nothing to do these days, so maybe some more tournament play mixed with cash

So how do I feel about my 2013 performance...
I am very happy with results, but far away from being happy with my game...
I generally play too tight, but when I try opening up its usually in bad spots, and that drives me to tilt, and that makes losing money...
As promised to myself a month ago, if I recover loses from November (nailed that ) hire a coach, and become a winning player @NL10, before moving up to NL25 and beyond. Actually already agreed on a monthly coaching deal, unfortunately that person is not a PStrategy team coach, so I wont post about him due to PS terms and conditions, but hopefully my results will speak for themselves.

Will struggle with my mindset to stay at regular tables, hopefully coach will explain to me why i should stay away from ZOOM tables for now!

Real life 2013. flash back...
Started the year with this blog and poker, but more important started it with travels to amazing countries with my group (Ecuador and Kingdom of Bahrain) and honeymoon trip with Mrs. to Dubai. When we got back home it was just enough time to finish with preparations for the wedding celebration for family and friends (~350 guests ). Work was very exhausting, finished the season late December with more that 250 shows organized, finally having more free time until half of January. Since my travels finished in May, I spent a lot of time home with friends, organized some epic parties, but as we are getting older, it's much easier to just go to parties and drink, than organizing. During autumn and all until few days ago, we were building a club on water for our group, and managed to get it open in time to celebrate NYE and yet one more party to remember !
2014. coming....
First of all 2014. decided to start with a serious stab at my poker career as it turns out Mrs. and I are going on a 65 days tour with our group all across...... CHINA......starting end of February, returning just after Labor Day, so probably, same as 2013., no grinding in March and April . Plan is to work until October, maybe a short summer tour could come in handy, with some seaside relaxation and after that another US tour with a MUST stay in Las Vegas... All in all it should be an interesting year, with lots of things that could jeopardize already mentioned poker plans for 2014., but lets just go one step at a time and live trough every good and bad moment life has prepared for us
