Wait, does the above graph mean you actually lost money in some of those freerolls? Is that even possible? ![]()
Either way, good job man, keep it up!

Mmmm it also includes "token games" which I count as "free" but technically they are worth money but cannot be traded in for cash...
Basically it's a free-roll that satellites into another tournament that has either 1) a token entry fee or 2) a cash entry fee. Since I never spend cash and only tokens I just count it as another freeroll.
You are starting to get follows smile keep up the good work .
Steve
Not quite sure what follows are yet, but they sound tasty! thanks for reading my blog!
Blog #8
Ok.. Last 2 days I've played a decent amount. Made a couple short term goals for myself. Also trying to grab poker cash where i can
1st. I used my 21$E token I had and placed 10th in a tournament landing me 9$CAD. Nice boost to the bank roll! I'm actually surprised how much I've been winning lately. Just a lot of winning... Maybe I'm getting lucky or maybe I'm understanding the game more.
I decided to participate in the x-mas side kick promo. I've already completed week 1. I'm hoping that if I complete each week I'll'll eventually win a HM2 or PT4 license. That would be sweet. I only have 7 days left on PT4. HM2 sent me an email saying I can try their product for another 14 days so I have 3 weeks of HUD display guaranteed still. It's a must and I really don't want to use my bankroll to purchase the product. It would be a major set back.
I've been thinking about ways to improve my volume. I already know that I need to keep watching videos, attend coaching, reading articles and absorbing as much information about the game as possible. A lot of the time i have to watch a video 5x or re-re-read an article before it actually sinks in 100%. I don't know if that's normal or if I'm a really slow learner.....( or maybe I'm just a bit stupid...)
Anyway, that was dark. A dark dark place. I've had good results lately. I tried using the all-in adjusted chart/stat and it said I'm running above average. So I started questioning my results. Am I simply getting lucky? I'm not sure. There seems to be several flaws with the way the all-in adjusted stat works in PT4. I'm 80% sure it's not completely accurate and cannot be used to judge your results. I posted a long link in the PT4 forums but the support stated I was wrong and that mathematicians came up with the report.
Basically PT4 counts the equity % on the street which the all-in took place. This leads to situations that produces a false equity % for situations that include pot commitment and user errors. For example, you could have 100,000 chips with AA. You place 99,999 chips in the pot. Your opponent can have 72o. He calls with with 99,999 chips. On the flop you toss in your 1 chip and so does your opponent. So you dont get your nice 85% equity you get some random equity % depending on the flop. The flop could be 777 giving you 0.1% equity or AAA given you 100%. This obviously results in a chip adjustment that is not even close. I don't understand it. Maybe i'll post a long detailed post on the SnG forums or somewhere for someone to explain it to me. For now I'm not going to use the stat because it seems flawed. The following is a link to my post if you interested.
Below I'll post my results as always. Got a nice ROI going on
Also I plan on moving up stakes soon. Especially when IPoker makes the new 0.20 + 0.04$ stakes into 0.17+0.03, a 17.2% rake instead of the current 20% rake ![]()
PS: sorry for the poor spelling / grammar hopefully its getting better but I'm not a professional writer !
Blog # 9
I am keeping this blog as somewhat of a journal so I can read it later and reflect my actions. I wanted to make a quick note on something. After playing a ton of games, studying really hard my body has become unstable. I'm starting to feel worn down. I usually have stomach problems but the last 2 nights they have been really bad. I believe it's stress induced. I have taken the last 3 days very light only play on avg 5 games a day.
On the other hand I have done a lot of reflecting and studying. The first day I played 8 games and was feeling really worn out so I quit and didn't touch poker for the rest of the day. During this process I realized I needed a small break to let my body catch up to my mind. The 2nd day I played 1 game. Yes 1 game and it was at 1 stake level higher. I watched some videos but only spent around 2 hours into poker. Today being the 3rd day I have played 8 games at the 20Euro cent level. It's 25$+0.04$(CAD). I played 6 games and i'm feeling pretty good. I also did around 3 hours of ICM Trainer today to grasp the ICM model better.
During my incubation I believe I have somewhat evolved.... I realize there are strong hands that I have not been playing in certain situations. Mostly suited connects and KJs, QTs, KTs, T8, ect. These cards are fairly strong and are really strong vs the top 7% of someone's pushing range.
I'm now playing @ the 0.25 + 0.04 level. Hopefully this goes well. Also I wanted to reach 50 BI's at the 0.10 + 0.02 level but that seems like an impossible goal now. They have completely removed that limit from IPOKER Lol :). I'm going to say that I reached that goal and deserve to move up in limits. Playing at the new limit seems exactly the same as the 0.10 + 0.02 limits but with less rake. I believe it's 17% rake for me. As I'm getting charge 25cent + 4cents CAD, but only 29cents for 2nd(should be 30cents) and 1.04 for 1st which is pretty dang sweet it's 3% less. Compared to the new 0.08 + 0.02 limit, its well worth it.
Sorry but no graphs today. Also my PT4 is running out and im going have to use holdem manager trail (14days extended) for the next 2 weeks. Hopefully i can win the advent mission for a free license
Nice progress Zerker
Good to hear your moving up to the 0.25cents at the right time just as Ipoker remove the $0.10.
I was at the same level at you last year when I got my No Deposit BR from pokerstrategy, grinding and beating $0.10, $0.25 and $0.50 (Fr). I still cant beat the $1 Toronto though ..Lol
I could be stuck trying to beat the $1 on Ipoker but it was a blessing in disguise when I got ban from Titan Poker (because of my geographical location) forcing me to play on the lucrative Pokerstars.
All the best with your Journey
