LOL, i wish it was as simple as that, but still seems to be a learning curve compared to how i used to play. Getting there.

Your volume goals look steep ("good" steep) to me, even though I don't work full time! Well done mate and may luck be with you when you're climbing towards that next level!

I plan on making them. This is a massive challenge for me, as i would like to look at getting a staking/coaching setup eventually, and get that continued support, and work my way up through the stakes.

Still down to date in $$$, but also earned enough FPP(2500) for a $25 add to the bankroll if i want, but at 4500 i can get $50, so that is another mini goal i am chasing for the future.

All adds up i guess.

Just when you thought it couldnt get any worse...........

Now i have internet problems, just to compound any other tilting problems that i may come across. Bad beats in the game ? I just laugh at that shit now, coz there's nothing i can do really. Continue to get it in good, and move on. One problem with the internet is that its holding me up for my volume goals. So paranoid that it will drop out when i have 10 tables running well, only to come back and find they might be all over.

What else you got to throw at me poker gods ?!?!??!

Just cant quite get my head above water consistantly at the moment, and not sure what part of my game is letting me down. I know i make a couple small mistakes, and have probably tilted off 1-2 games, but overall try to continue to play solid game. Maybe something will pop up soon.

Got my silver status back here, so will go over a couple vids that i wanted to look at earlier in the month :

The Golden Rule
Calling All-in
Live games

See y'all next week.

Welcome to the variance club

I'm sure you'll do fine, your attitude towards poker (learning, coaching, reading) is right and of course not everything is peachy at start, but if we continue to learn and improve and most importantly not giving up, we'll have our share of $$$ to _cool:

I know that feeling very well! What I've done to counter it is set out to revolutionize some aspects of my game (HUD & No. of tables in my case; but for you other things could work) and started to work on some other. I plan to watch and re-watch vids, read and re-read articles, and engage in solid re-thinking of different situations (e.g. by making calculations) etc.

I think you might need refreshment! Maybe slow down a bit with the volume, if you're feeling unsure at the moment (because internet is causing you tilt) maybe it's best to weigh your free time towards session reviews, hand evaluation forums, watching vids, reading articles etc. That way once your internet stops being a bitch you can burst back into the grinding routine with a fresh mind and some new found confidence!

Anyway good luck mate!!
I'll PM you when I'm available.

It is a large club my friend, happy to be a part of it

Looking forward to continuing through it tho, and finding that so called light at the tunnel. It's gotta be around here somewhere, doesnt it ?!?

Thanks mate.

Will take some of that advice onboard as i sort out my internet dramas (got a tech coming out today) and hopefully back on the wagon soon enough. Got a few things to work on my game, so might put a plan together so i can work on it methodically.

Talk to you soon.

WOW, almost been 12 months since giving the game away for a while and have come back a little refreshed to have another crack at it.

One of the issues a while back was finding a site with good volume for us folks here in Australia. I found it was quite tedious and tending to start jumping all over the place. Since FTP is back on board, thought i would get back into the swing of it.

Came to the conclusion i would stick to HUSNG, as i have had the most success from it and feel i have the knowledge to get me through it. Fairly good traffic on FTP and was going to deposit some $$$ until i realised i have about 800FPP (or whatever they call them). Thought i might set myself a little challenge. With the points, I bought myself 6x $0.50 SNG tickets and see what i can do with it.

Slowly getting into the swing of it and feeling a bit rusty so not going to set myself to many ambitious goals to begin with. Had a good session tonight and have worked up a total of 18 since starting late last night. Will implement a 30BI rule and see where it takes me. Look forward to catching up with a few threads and reading over a few HH to better my game.

Starting to get back in the groove but just allowing a little FPS syndrome to kick in. Can put up with the continual bad beats as i am getting myself into strong position.

Just about hit 30 games and nursing a healthy 20.6% ROI. Granted that sample size is very small but at least it is heading in the right direction :)

Was wondering if there are many others playing Turbo HUSNG or is everyone heading over to the wonderful variance world of HYPERS

Not a huge player pool still but barely waiting any more than a minute to get a game up and running. Have been focusing on some good notes and trying to identify opponents early whilst always allowing for any adjustment if their game changes.

Till the next time.

Rob

Hey Rob,

Well all I can say is the obvious.

Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi.

How are you doing anyway mate. So nice to see fellow Aussies here. Eventually we'll take over the place.

I'm a 45 man SnGer myself but I'm sure you'll get plenty of answers from other HU players.

Regards

Laz
