Hey again,

have you finished your goals list? Are you reviewing your vision daily? How is it working for you? Have you stumbled upon any problems?

His range looks pretty wide here, vs an overall range of 13%, I think his 3bet range here is at least 13-15%, and JJ crushes that range. Sure it's gonna be tough but I think calling > folding. Maybe if you have <150bb and you are known to be very aggro in cold 4betting here and expect some light 5bets then it's possible but I think that isn't too likely that NL50. Our hand would be kind of face up but I think given the looseness of his PF range we should not have too much problems postflop.

Hi guys, last bootcamp was very nice, looking forward to this one.

I havent had any big succeses poker wise. I dropped playing poker for a while, but now rebuilding. Currently playing Nl20 anoymous tables at Unibet hoping to shoot NL50 soon. This will be a great opportunity to give a boost to my game.

Good luck succeeding and taking out the most you can out of this bootcamp.

Come on Jachis, you belong higher than nl20, lets make sure by end of bootcamp you are at nl50 and at a great position to smash 2014.

So im making some progress and yesterday took an NL50 shoot. Didnt run particulary well, but I was very surprised how soft the tables were. I did table select quite a bit and I played at the peak time, but still like none of my tables had less than 2 fish.
I will definitely make time to continue Nl50 journey on the weekend, when the tables usually are the best.

I feel like this bootcamp is a bit more passive the the last one, the people who participated where more active and so were the coaches.

I pretty lazy myself, only watching the new videos and trying to participate in the coachings.
I find it kind of hard to study my game when I mostly play anoymous tables. Id love to here tips from people who have played or play the anoymous tables, how do you study.

If anyone is interested in a sweat session or just wants to talk strategy, just write a message here or add in community.

Hi jachis,

I'll be helping you out in this Boot Camp with topics like procrastination, motivation, laziness, productivity, focus while playing, putting in more volume/studying, creating habits that stick, etc.

Could you please tell me:

1) What is your #1 issue in those areas
2) What did you try so far to resolve it?
3) What worked and what didn't?

Thank you,

-Primoz

Hi Erik and Schintzel.

Tiltwise I feel very good. I cant say I play may I game all the time, but Im very satisfied with the way I absorb the stress from poker. I try to meditate on regular basis, and mostly am very calm at the tables.

Aswers to schintzes

1) Definitely procrastionation and creating habits that stick. Id like to put in more volume on studying as well, but its like with a lot of things. I know I should do that and that, but I just dont.

2)I've read your productivity guide, read some awesome books: "Getting things done", "Drive", "Ill teach you to be rich", "Power of habbit" and more. I was in your skype group and for a moment I participated in those accountability groups. I've tried a lot.

3) I think that I havent done nothing so long for it to stick as a habbit. I think the accountability groups worked the best. I filled the spreadsheet on regular basis and talked to people about it. I've tried the calendar method were you cross each day when you do the habbit you want to and failed. Ive taken a lot of good ideas and small tweaks from the books ive read but I feel like I should be able to do much better.

After having tried so many approaches and read so many books. What do you think the issue is here? Why do you keep struggling with procrastination?

Hi Jachis,

I think I remember you from the group yeah :).

You need 3 things:

1) A system for tracking habits. You can use a google spreadsheet or maybe chains.cc. Set it as a homepage in your browser to get reminded of this daily.

2) Figure out WHY you failed to do a habit, and start developing solutions for the reasons, until you find ones that work well.

3) An accountability partner / group to help you get through tough times (a great book that goes into more detail on this is "The power of habit").

Look below for instructions for #2:

Hmm ok, it seems like a pattern that keeps repeating for you is that you start something but can't quite manage to stick to it. I have found out lately that one of the most important things when it comes to habits that stick is creating an environment where you are held acocuntable by the people that have similar goals as you do.

I would start with getting an accountability buddy that you talk to on a weekly basis through a skype call. You might need to switch a few of them until you find someone who is very dedicated and will show up, as well as call you out on your BS.

I would also find more people to talk to on a frequent basis that are working towards the same goals as you are and hold you accountable. These people that will believe in you will help you get unstuck and make sure that you constantly improve. Again, I strongly recommend skype calls (video calls work even better from my experience).

If you're unsure how to reach out to people, read this post of mine where I describe it into great detail.

-Primoz

P.S. confidant91 from this boot camp might be a good accountability partner.
