as played i think the 3 barrel vs this player is OK. he seems like he can fold some pairs

i agree with betting the flop, not with betsizing. Our betting range can consist of 9 sets that we definitly want to bet + a lot of combos of draws + hands with equity. in my opinion we can bet bet shove fair ammont of boards(hand developments) for value so i would go for this option.

on the flop there is ef.SPR of 20 so by betting around 120% of the pot on each street we should achieve comfortable stackoff on the river.

Tobe honest with reverse implied odds i really dont like overbetting the flop with bottom end of a OESD.

That we have a set combos in our range is not really important, because i am not going after the idea that i need to balance my lines against unknowns passive fishes.

Even agaisnt a overbet 7x or FD or top pair is never folding flop/turn and when i hit a straight other than 2x non club i will be also behind a fair amount of time, and i would have built a solid pot with a very marginal hand.

oh, okey i definitly agree that our hand is very weak. when i said i would go for overbet i had in mind that we had a LOT of fold equity so we can aford to be doing this with weak hands.

if we think there are is not that much fold equity on 654 board vs this types of players then we should check fold.

but i still believe that if we had hand like Q 7 then we definitly should bet the flop with overbet, and go for bet bet shove on good developments.

Idea to balance your range would only apply if we are versus reggy players as Gavron mentioned. Versus reggy players I see lot of fold equity with overbetting line. Though then another question is do we want to take such line when actually having a set. We force lot of hands out of pot. Of course flop is ugly and can develop even worse, but there is also aspect of overprotection. If we overbet flop we might force most draws to fold straight away and also most weaker made hands. Versus monster draws it doesnt matter that much as villains could easily go for raise with those anyway.

"aspect of overprotection" is irrelevant in this spot given we are in the spot facing 2 preflop limpers.
i agree that by overbetting in general good players would give us much less value and fold more, but in this hand we are facing 2 limpers readless in first blind level on 15$ tournament. Most likely they are not "reggy players"

these types of players that we are facing here, will give us enough value regardless of our betsizing since their continuing ranges are non elastic to our betsizing.

Yeah, but just added it because IF we want to balance our range it only matters IF players are reggy. UTG limper is rarely reg though I know some regs in 30$ games who does that. Another limper can be reg more easily as overlimping is more reasonable line in some cases.
