Day 6

Hi`a guys! .. or whoever would be bored enough to read my blog

It's been quite a ride till' now...been playing a lot..started actually to love the game more...kinda strange...but playing more makes me love the game!Been listening to podcasts about poker(Fried fish), basically listening and re-re-re-listening some of them=)

Today was my first +10 bi day at nl5 sh on stars! :f_love:

Graph:

The thing is I'm behind in my challenge quite a bit... with an overall profit of just $70 till' now...and I'm thinking of mixing some nl10 sh tables in the mix somthing like 2 nl5 tables + 4 nl10 tables...cuz' if I can manage a 10 bi upswing at nl5...then its probable I could do that at nl10...Wish me luck!

Overall - 6 days :

BR: $240

C'ya tomorrow

Long time no see my fellow pokerstrategists

I decided to restart my blog because I want to have a way of keeping track of my life progress as well as my poker progress.

I would normally start with goals but in my case and I think in a lot of your cases setting a goal doesn't really work that well. I've read an article on Entrepreneurship.com - 'Forget Setting Goals. Focus on This Instead.' in which the author, James Clear, states that 'Committing to a process, not a goal' will be of better help. He says:

As an example, I just added up the total word count for the articles I’ve written this year. (You can see them all here.) In the last 12 months, I’ve written over 115,000 words. The typical book is about 50,000 to 60,000 words, so I have basically written two books this year.

All of this is such a surprise because I never set a goal for my writing. I didn’t measure my progress in relation to some benchmark. I never set a word count goal for any particular article. I never said, “I want to write two books this year.”

What I did focus on was writing one article every Monday and Thursday. And after sticking to that schedule for 11 months, the result was 115,000 words. I focused on my system and the process of doing the work. In the end, I enjoyed the same (or perhaps better) results.

This inspired me to focus on a process and not necessarily on goals.

So this is my system ( for now ) :

:spade: Read every day at leas an hour (non-poker related)

:spade: Work on something I like for at least 90 minutes every day ( in my case a web-site)

:spade: Read one article or watch one video for Poker every day

:spade: Play 45 minutes at least / every day

:spade: Right a post every day on this blog, no matter how short

This all I want to focus for now, I will keep you and myself updated on the progress of things.

And yeah, I know this seems very vague but the whole thing is meant to make me grind again cuz I don't really feel like it right now...but that is not going to stop me.. I will try!
