Should I be folding this hand, I witness my opp. spew off a few stacks during the session but it wasnt until later. I think he has me beat (pretty certain) but is this a fold in every situation, excluding opp. who play like a 70/5 and go to showdown 60%. BTW this guy is playing 26/21 and 3 betting 12% over 300 hands.

Hi,

J is not the best card but at the same time it is not the worst. Since you also hold a gutshot and block QT I think he would most likely pot turn quite wide range starting with flushdraws and maybe ending JTs, 77, TT
I´m also not sure he would just r/c pre KK/AA and then take that strange line, so personally I would shove turn.
You´re likely ahead more than 50% and players would more often take c/r lines with their two pairs/sets/straights and rather bet big with draws

best regards,

thanks for the reply, maybe your right, it just seemed like a big turn bet, he could have TP w a flush/straight draw and that would make perfect sense. Thanks again
