Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.02/$0.04 No-Limit Hold'em (5 handed)

Known players:
[tg]SB$4.00:///////;BB$4.54:///////;MP3 (Hero)$5.66:///////;CO$4.62:///////;BU$8.48:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A:d, A:h.
Hero raises to $0.12, CO calls $0.12, BU calls $0.12, SB folds, BB calls $0.08.

Flop: ($0.5) 5:h, 7:d, 6:s (2 players)
BB bets $0.48, Hero folds, BB gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: $0.5.

Preflop standard OR.
It is never easy for me to lay down AA but on flop and huge donk from BB i better decide to fold. Vilain is unknown.
Can you comment on it, please ?

Heyo,

It would be very helpful to have some sort of stats or reads on your opponent here. As a general guideline, if you're not comfortable calling the turn on cards like K/Q/J/T/2 etc. folding flop is going to be better than calling the flop.

I do think this is one of those spots where you either win a medium sized pot or lose your whole stack, so I don't think folding the flop is bad.

Hi,

Thanks for evaluation.
Vilain is unknown and I don't use stats yet.
From what I saw he was not bluffing much except some blind stealing.
My thinking was that he holds a set or even straight while betting so huge.
BTW another opponent played back with JJ and lost his entire stack with straight 5 to 9. Just didn't want to publish results before you take a look.

This is actually a very good read already! I'd say you made a good fold here in the long run, given this player hadn't been bluffing much before this hand. Wp!
