UTG ($13.71) 55bb
UTG+1 ($17.96) 72bb
CO ($56.94) 228bb
BTN ($28.70) 115bb
SB ($29.43) 118bb
Hero (BB) ($26.11) 104bb

Pre-Flop: ($0.35, 6 players) Hero is BB 8♥ J♠ 10:diamond: A♦
UTG raises to $0.50, UTG+1 calls $0.50, 3 folds, Hero raises to $2.10, UTG calls $1.60, UTG+1 calls $1.60

Flop: 6♠ 4♥ 4♦ ($6.40, 3 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $3, UTG+1 calls $3, Hero folds

Turn: 7♦ ($12.40, 2 players)
UTG checks, UTG+1 bets $3.50, UTG folds

I think a 3bet here is a fault. I have a few reasons for this:
This is not really a pure value hand like AA, more some kind of implied odds hand... and: Both Villains are big stations, so I have enough implied odds. Both Villians have only a midstack, so there are not that much implied odds postflop.

Another thing is, that I had some 3bets before (maybe 2 in the last orbit), where I had to cbet/fold. So, vs the 2 stations I will not that easily be able to steal on a very dry board representing AA.

Would you agree, that these are enough reasons? How many of the reasons could be left out for the 3bet? Would you 3bet eg deep against 2 reasonable players?

Regards MGF

Hi,

IP i would 3bet, oop i think calling is fine due to the fact that both are short. Given the fact that they are station 3betting IP looks even better here so you check behind often instead of betting and can get a good turn.

REgards,

Skod
