thoughts
I like to mix things up when i am @co and/or btn when sb&bb have a high raise and 3bet% to isolate them pre in position. unluckily none of them were raising pre so we had a 5 way flop

what's the best line here? i guess c/c @flop? if an absolute blank hits the turn i can also c/c a bet like 1/2 and/or 3/4?

Hi,

To me it is standard isolation raise pre-flop. Don´t think SB/BB would going to go crazy with too many worse hands pre-flop and I would prefer taking initiative, isolating weak players and get paid if I should hit my hand.

Flop is easy call with nut flushdraw+gutshot. I doubt that too many worse hands besides 98 would pot flop and you likely don´t have any fold equity if you make it 3.5$. Also you can likely take pot away sometimes if board pairs.

best regards,

Hi,

agree it's an easy preflop raise, even tough you won't iso anyone. AKxxds is a decen thand IP.

As played flop is an easy call here yes. The turn is all based on odds usually, so you have to calculate how much equity you have vs hands that beat you.

Regards,

Skod
