Thanks everyone! ![]()
I'm playing on Pokerstars, don't even looking to other sites, not ready for their ugly softwares yet ♦
First time in my poker career tried NL400, was really curious so decided whatever YOLO I'll shoot at it, even was planning to do it way more later.
And BOOM!, unfortunately bad boom ![]()
!Warning!
crying fish stuff below
Got standard 2 full of crap sessions, lost to one reg like 4 BIs, KK<AA, AA<KK, JJ<88 on Q858J, AQ<KK and etc. etc.
anyways I'm quite happy about my game overall, but won't shoot anymore for now, need to rebuild my loss, coz I feel that I'm too much money oriented while playing @NL400.
I can show you graph even if it's not interesting:

Today also played quite long session @NL200, again pretty much happy about my game, but cards didn't go to my side and now I have a negative graph for this month. Start was really cool, but my shot cost me all my profits, but before doing it, I knew what is probably waiting me, so shouldn't be too much worried about that.
January so far:

January in bb:

Now the main goal is to develop my game study ethics and to make my work plan, coz last days I'm just randomly checking some filters, reviewing some bigger hands, had some coaching seminars with my study group, but would like to go deeper developing some concepts on my own.
Also at the moment I'm having an exam session at university, 3 more left, but they aren't really hard, so after them no excuses about why I'm not putting 100% of myself trying to get better.
I guess that's enough of crying, feeling better and more motivated now after wrote all this. Now off to bed and hope to have a productive day tomorrow. Gonna study a bit for a Friday's exam, will try at least 1 hour of studying my game and at least 2 hours of grind.
Ok, peace, c ya!
lol ♦ so funny ♦ was reading my blog from very beginning and it was soo embarrassing to read such stupid stuff ♦ Those goals 55$ to 500$ really funny ♦ and I'm surprised that I achieved that one in 18 days and in 40days made from 55$ to 1000$, just wow ♦ Those 100k+hands/month sick either ![]()
But I've reached my goal to get some motivation boost by seeing what progress I've made so far. I guess this is the main reason why blogging is so cool
Lately was struggling a bit with motivation, coz had various thoughts about my future, what I'm going to do after 1 or 2 years, coz half an year left and I'll finish my 2nd course at university and my profession(software engineering) is really demanding and usually all 3rd course students already have got jobs and after few years they get really healthy salaries and you can live really decent and comfortable life. But the thing to wake up every morning go to work to sit till the evening and trade 5 days to 2 weekend days sounds soo horrible to me, since I'm already making quite decent money and you got to work your ass off to get such salary in my country.
I've read a really cool book "The millionaire fastlane", which changed my attitude to life a bit, I realized that human can achieve anything he wants and this depends on how hard he wants it. I'm almost sure that someday I'll at least try to do something business related and lately was reading various forums, interesting articles to get closer to this area and already learned a lot of interesting stuff. And the main thing why I was struggling with motivation at poker, because I was already thinking of trying doing something else not only poker, to get some expierence and more steady side income. Was doing some researches about affiliate marketing and stuff like that.
But yesterday after one more bad poker session(was playing like my D-game), had a serious conversation with myself. I decided that it would be quite dumb to start doing something else and leave poker just for grinding small side money. I've already went too far, not a lot of people succeed that and in any area if you want to be good and make some serious money, you got to give 100% of yourself, only then you'll succeed. So decided that for now I should stop looking around and fully concentrate on poker and make some serious money before it's not too late. And only on side passively learn other things till the time comes and with a decent bankroll I will be able to do something decent.
So that's it, it's time to get more serious. I realized that I got too much lazy last months and stopped progressing at poker(not as much as I would like).
My main goals now are to:
* Develop my work ethics
* Fight with procrastination
* Track everything and etc.
Already my desktop is full of notes, I'll be making daily reports for myself too, I'll be writing what I've done today and stuff like that, in this way it will be easier to realize when I stopped working as well as to see what progress I've made.
I guess that's it for now, already written a huge wall of text, don't know if anyone gonna read that, but it was +EV for me, feeling way more better now.
And gonna finish with one of the top quotes for me by Eric Thomas: "If you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you will be successful" golden words ![]()
see ya and GL what ever you do!
What's up guys? ![]()
Almost 4 months, I guess it's the longest period without updates to my blog. Already wanted to write something few times, but I don't know why I didn't. Maybe was too lazy ![]()
During those 4 months a lot of things happened to me.
So firstly let's begin with skiing trip to Austria.
It was the first time for me when I went skiing, I really enjoyed it, but together it was really scary. Those cliffs without fences were so spooky, it looks that you're a few meters away from death ♦ Also had an accident, when grandma suddenly stopped in the middle of the slope and since I was not experienced skier I crashed into her and something happened to her shoulder. So I had to go to police station, like a criminal ♦
View through the window:

Some random pics:

After that trip unexpected thing happened. One friend, also poker pro, found cheap tickets to USA, New York and offered me to go, but it was like one week left and I had like one hour to decide. And guess what? Yeah I went to YOLO mode and accepted that challenge. So we found two more people, it was one more poker player from our country with her gf.
It was the first such serious traveling experience. We went there for 2 weeks only knowing where we gonna stay in NY and with a goal to do a roadtrip down to florida and come back.
So after a ton of flights we finally reached the city which never sleeps.

We stayed in apartment which was in 25th floor. The view through the window was amazing, like in a movie:

So the next few days we did a hell a lot of sightseeing stuff. In those two days I saw so much interesting and amazing stuff, that I have never seen before.
View from Empire state building, that was really tall building ♦

Times square:

So after those two days we packed our luggage and went back to airport to rent a car and got this beauty:

And the first stop was Niagara falls. I would say it wasn't worth going 500km. that time, because it wasn't the right season and it was too cold, but still it is a checkpoint that I've been there.
We stayed in that town one night, in the morning we went to see those falls and after few hours we again packed our luggage and went down to south, where it's a bit warmer.

But then funny thing has happened. Our car's left direction light electronics crashed, the lever stuck in left direction position, and if you don't hold it it always blinks the left turn and we couldn't show right turn.
We made this thing to hold it:

But still we had to find car rentals asap to replace our car, but the nearest was 500km away, so it was kinda dangerous to go without that right light, but luckily, we didn't need to go through bigger cities.
Finally we reached car rentals and got this one:

It was so amazing that now we could show both sides lights, but previous car was better :/
After a lot of kilometers we finally reached:

The weather was really amazing. We stayed in florida for 5 days and went round through all the state living in different places.
Also visited Miami, always wanted to see what's so special there. It wasn't something really exceptional, but still it was a nice place.

Also went to NBA game(Miami Heat vs. Brooklyn Nets) it was interesting to see how it looks in real life and yeah it was as I expected, like in circus, people go to the game not because of basketball, but because of various activities, but still the quality of game was really high too.

After Miami we visited two more beaches:

And here in Daytona beach, my friends really wanted to try a poker room and it was really annoying to me, because I'm just 20years old and in USA you can only play if you are 21. But... The laws in different states are different and it appeared that in this state you can play from 18 and yup I said we can go and guess who won the most? ♦ Yes you're right, I've won like 3BIs. The field was soooo soft, it looked that half of table don't even know the rules of this game, I should really consider do another poker trip there ♦

Next day we started driving again back to north as our two weeks were approaching to the end, we also visited the capital Washington DC, also did some sightseeing, but it was really hot that day and we were already a bit tired, because those last days we did really a lot of things.

After DC, the last stop was Atlantic city, city of casinos. Again gamblers wanted to gamble, but this time I couldn't do this, coz I'm a kid, but I wasn't really disappointed, I did some shopping, since it's cheaper here than in Europe.

Next day we came back to Airport and had one more reaaaally long and exhausting trip back to home.
But yeeah, overall this trip was really amazing!
Now already have two more trips planned in late July going to Paris with my girlfriend and in the beginning of September I'll go again to Barcelona, to grind some live poker and watch some FIBA 2014 basketball games, since my country team is kinda good at basketball.
Poker is going great now, this month is really good for me. Came back to zoom for a while and now crushing it, hope this run will continue for a long time.
So yeah I'm already tired of typing this post, it took me more than hour to write this, I'll end now, maybe will post something more. Peace

@Max thx buddy
And ookaaay, must update my blog since it's confirmed that this is #thebestmonthever
It feels so amazing, when everything what you do works out perfectly. For sure it's a massive upswing for a fish, but it really keeps me motivated to push harder.
And okay there is some graphs for threadsavers and for you to see what I'm talking about:
NL200 zoom ![]()

And one more unexpected and funny source of income. When I was coming back from USA, at the airport I downloaded on of the ongame's clients and deposited 275$, played some HU and made 100$. Several days ago remembered that site and for fun gambled there a bit. And lol, I was using like 3-4BI BRM and look at this beautiful graph ♦

I even tried NL1k, which I have never played before, somehow on this site money doesn't look real, it's like play money, because I'm not used to that soft ♦
But on a serious note for sure I should be realistic and don't expect this to continue forever. I can't stop working on my game if I want to show good results constantly.
Unfortunately exam session is starting after less than two weeks and I'll have to grind a bit of shitty stuff and poker volume will suffer a bit but w/e it's just 6 exams, easy game ♦
Ok, that's it for now, thanks for your attention, peace

GooD Luck at the tables ♠_cool:
Thanks ![]()
And about posting my video how I play I guess it's too -EV for me, since a lot of regs are around here in forums who I play against every day ♦
Heh finally got something big, was really close to huge 1st place. It looks really sick how one or two more higher places differs money wise, like two more places and it's an extra Porsche ♦
But anyways it's huuuge victory for my bankroll and I'm happy that after several years of hard work and sleepless nights my lucky run finally came to my house.

Oh yes, that's more like it!
I could read that kind of post all day! Just brilliant!
Best regards but I can't wish you lots of luck, because you don't need much of it obviously,
Mal.
That's the dream, cash game is nice and steady but final table of SM is what we all want
Congratz man!
