not quite sure about how many online but i think overall it's something like 1 in 5 play poker.

Lol i am sure is much less. I would say that max. 10% people know one variant of poker. I mean you have to know that there are 1,3B and 1B chinesse indians and maybe 1/100 knows there whats poker ♦ Than you have Africa where is probably the same ♦

SO i would say that at least once per month play 0,3% of world population ♦ Which is ~ 200M people. At least once per week probably only 20M;)

With more than 5 million poker players in Canada and a reported 60 million in North America and over 100 million worldwide, more people play poker than play golf, pool or tennis.
