Taxes from poker does not exists in Poland, you just cant pay them even if you want.
The weather in Denmark is pretty much the same as in London, but it's tax free and in Aarhus there are a pretty big poker community with a poker office etc. The living expences is probably lower due the high taxes for "working people", and probably some of the most beautifull girls in the world!
And what about tax office in denmark? THey wont ask from where you have money? You just say you play poker and its okay for them?

Nop. The amount I want to withdraw is the exact amount I get. So I guess if I was paying taxes they would keep automatically some money on each withdraw I make?

Denmark is absolutely awesome. But is it really tax free now? I recall few years ago some dude got sentenced for not paying taxes on his winnings.

It doesn't make sense that regular residents pay up to 35% tax, and if you own a company you can withdraw the money at a total of 5% tax only?
Why doens't all the residents open up their own companies then? Although I've read some stuff about it, I can't find any detailed information about it.
If it is true that you'll end up with only paying 5% tax, then Malta is defo an interesting option.
It's for foreigners. You basically create 2 companies, one gets the dividends of the other one, and you prevent yourself from paying 6/7th of the 35%, so 5%. It's 100% legal, I know people that do it, but I decided that it wasn't worth it for me since you pay a few fees on top of the 5%. I can't explain you in details as it doesn't interest me for now, however, I could give you the contact of the guy that is busy with my legal situation here. If you wish so, friend me. I don't play poker for a livng, so I don't know for sure, but a couple years ago they made a system called "nem-id", you get a card with some codes that you need to log-in to gambling sites with danish license and to pay-out you have to do it through your ID, so I think they register whenever you recieve money. And then you probably have to make a yearly summary if you have made money on sites without dansih license, of which you need to pay about 50% in taxes.

The tax system for gambling have changed not too long ago (a year or two), so either it was before that, or it could have been from a site without danish gambling license.

An update with comparison of former Yugoslav republics would be appreciated... as of now, Croatia looks the nuts to me as it's on the way to the Schengen zone but isn't there right now so I may sneak in and buy an apartment there (= guaranteed EU residence = taxfree poker income - it's been taxfree in Croatia even before the EU) before the gate becomes tougher to pass for Russians given the Crimean crisis
