I like pre and F, and I just c/f turn. I mean, your hand really looks like Ax and it does not make a lot of sense for him to try to bluff us out of it.
I think decision needs to be made on the turn, calldown or just fold. Vs this sizing, i just fold

our hand looks a lot like Ax after we call turn, it doesnt look like AX on flop imo

Hi,

I don´t see any reason why fish (42/0 after 7 hands) should bet 600 on the flop with AQ/AK or better to then pot it on the turn.
Most likely he has there draw, so seems standard calldown
if you don´t see him taking that line with draws then likely you should just fold turn.

best regards,

Hi all,

Combinatorically there's just too many draws and too few hands that beat us. Check/call down seems reasonable even if this is a spot (including sizing) where fish bluff rarely.

it's probably more weighted towards AQ and draws than AK or boats.

hmm istn AQ=AK in this spot from his perspective? shouldnt we expect him to play them the same?

u think as played that he has more AQ draws combos then A8/A6/88/66/AK combos?

I don't think it's the same from his perspective, though it should be. Anyway I don't expect boats to pot turn too often.

hmmm yea i agree on that cos its not like he has to protect his hand from smth but i think randoms/unknows r more likely to bet big with strong hands then draws, dont u think that is true?
imo his range is like Ax and boats(he has overplayed AX too imo) and very small% air/draws

we should be good like how much is that 25% to make break evenish call of on river? i dont think that AJ as hand is played will be good there 1/4 of the time tbh

Hi all,

We need to be good 26.4% and I think we're good probably 40% of the time here.

I don't have pokerstove, here's a pessimistic estimation of his range, with all his boats in there, and not many flushdraws:

board: ac 6c 8h ad 9d
9s7s,9c7c,9h7h,7s5s,7c5c,7h5h,7d5d,kcqc,kcjc,qcjc,ak,aq,88,66 75.00%
as jh 25.00%

And here's a more realistic one:

9s7s,9c7c,9h7h,7s5s,7c5c,7h5h,7d5d,kcqc,kcjc,qcjc,kctc,qctc,jctc,ak,aq 57.14%
as jh 42.86%

Why u think he only has aq/ak in his range? I think he has all Ax combos

So with the second equity calculation we clearly have the equity to call. So if he has worse for value ever, then we have to call river, even without including other Ax combinations. I don't think Ax boat combos bet so big.

3bet pre

hoping bb sqzes so we can call off with AJ (which lets face it isn't going to exactly crush his range) is not a reason for not doing so, esp when OR is a fish.

just calldown

I think pre's fine given that this is a hand that plays pretty well without the initiative anyway. I think KQo or something similar and your argument becomes a lot stronger.
