nl100 std spot in 3b pot - most value with turned trips

Theoretically I guess this makes more sense in preflop flatting range. It doesn't play that well OOP in a 3bet pot. Won't be +EV in isolation either if opponents Ft3bet is accurate from these positions.

Flop cbet is fine.

Turn I like to check because checking a decent amount of range on paired turn. To compensate we also just check a lot of (if not all) our value range. I.e theoretically we shouldn't barrel turn for value if we never bluff this turn with any of our holdings.

On blank turn, x/c turn, x/decide river is fine. This is why the hand doesn't play so well OOP though. We put ourselves in a situation where we allow opponent to turn our hand into a bluffcatcher very frequently.

Do you think he would bet turn shove river as a bluff?
Do you think he would bet turn shove river for value with worse hands?

and both previous questions leads to this one: do you think x/shove turn is reasonable? check/calling and checking river would often be loosing value, x/c turn and lead shoving river doesn't make sense with any bluff - so it would be very transparent value.

I was discussing this hand with someone and maybe it's exploitatively better just to fire turn for value and put him in a tough spot with any bluff-catchers assuming we appear reasonably aggressive.

Assuming we check I think we should typically just be check-calling 2 streets. I think it's totally possible he bluffs 2 streets here because some guys at these limits just auto-fire 2 vs a turn check. He may value-cut with QJs but I doubt he's value-betting much worse.

But yeah, assuming he just gives up all of his bluffs on the river it's true we are just letting him freeroll for no reason and could consider a x/r but really tough to actually see what worse hands he is bet/calling with aside from stuff like QJs, so it'd suck if we just iso ourselves vs better. I would just x/c turn x/c river and expect him to maybe check back on his bluffs some of the time since checking turn on this card doesn't necessarily mean our range is super weak or anything.
