I think you may have to adjust a bit your preflop ranges, once the ranges will be tighter in Zoom.

About volume, I never made the math, but I read that 4 Zoom tables equal 10 to 12 regular ones.

I like the fact that you just have 4 tables open which means you can pay more attention to each situation.

I'd like to play more hands, but I don't like more than 8 tables becouse the game start being quite mechanic, so I think ZOOM is a very good option.
In 5 days I played 15k hands :/

bernardohf I'm not looking to much into volume right now, since I've so much to improve. I spent almost an hour putting hands in the evaluation forum and maybe another reading or watching a vídeo.

But, I think that the Zoom is the best of both worlds. You can have more volume and less tables.

I've been playing 2nl 5nl 10nl at stars for about 2 years now and i've had more success at the non-zoom tables then the zoom ones

7.6bb/100 over 55k hands for 2nl zoom

15.23bb/100 over 32k hands for 2nl reg tables

I have the same results at 5NL

3.8bb/100 over 98k hands for 5nl zoom

6bb/100 over 31.4k hands for 5nl regular tables

+ if you open 24-28 reg tables its upto 50% more hands per hour

hopefully this is some help to you

Zoom is in general more nitty, so people are not giving up as many bb/100 as at reg tables where people play a lot looser because they get bored.

At micros I think zoom is probably better since you will be able to get good volume without playing too many tables which is important because people at these stakes should learn more from playing.

Playing 24-28 tables at these stake is just plain stupid unless you are used to play way higher and just want to run up a bankroll quickly. Most players at these stakes has no idea what they are doing (regs included), so it doesn't make sense to sit a push buttons without learning how to adjust to different spots which one won't have time to while playing that many tables. Also if you do want high volume I believe 8 tables zoom is more hands/hour than 24 tables.

Vip3rNZ, I believe that in regular tables you can have a higher win rate. There are both, advantages and disadvantages in both options.

I agree that mass multitabling when learning is a mistake. At least, for me, would be. Your WR looks pretty good.

What limits are you playing now?

miropro, are studying MSS? Do you prefer it over BSS? Never studied it, but appear to be interesting for mass multitabling.

Playing 5NL zoom too, with 6bb/100 winrate, over kinda big sample, my goal is to get it to 8 too. But seems it's impossible, since people fold so much, if they don't have two pair or set, they fold.

Zitaa, no I am not actually MSSing but I decided to play 1/2 stack because I had some really bad runs on NL5 where I made huge mistakes. This way mistakes are lot cheaper (half price :f_biggrin:) and I will adapt to NL5 better because I am forced to play tighter range because of my stack size. I am still grinding NL2 full stack and hopefuly will grind few $$ this way.

Thank you. Well, I'm not so sure If I'm going to move up this week. I should play some more hands at NL2 before moving up. I have some leaks that I want to improve. It is more about mindset game.

Yesterday session went bad. Was 2 BI up and did a couple of mistakes that made me finish in red.

miropro, I like the way you played the hand. Or course he can have a set, but can have TP or some combo draws as well.

After him call your 3Bet I think we are ahed a huge ammount of the time.

Thats it, grind it back. Soo you will be back in the 20BI for NL5.
