I stick to PLO for the moment. You won't believe how fishy it is.. ♦
Cheers,

Sick upswing! Nice work Gerv, GL at NL100 but don't make yourself too loose until you have good stats on the opponents / know what a regular opponent is like
Don't worry though theres still plenty of fish ready to hooked
(as i'm sure you know)
I guess we'll be more likely to bump into each other at the tables now!
Thank you guys for your replies! If there is anything I could do to give away as a present, tell me ![]()
I dont know how fishy it is but if you could show me some hands ♦ tak!

I still do not know who you are on Party
makes me wonder a lot while playing: ''Is this DaPhunk? or This guy? Oh this guy seems Rockish, is that him probably?''
Nice one Gerv.
I know I already said that to you, but just wanted to let you know I'm still reading this blog every day ![]()
Good luck mate!

I know Tak For Mad due my time in denmark during a school exchange years ago :]. I like Scandinavian languages in a written form, if I try to speak Danish/Swedish, it sounds horrible ♦
I am from Holland but I do not know if I stay there
Thank you Gerv , I appreciate your comment on my blog ![]()

[x]First Night on NL100 Soil
First of all, an official thanks to all readers who responded in my Blog, I really appreciate people reading my blog. I also wish them the best of luck
I hoped that I inspire some people about their plays or other things!
Anyways, let's go to my debut at NL100. I want to display some things I do before, during and after a session. *burk* Sorry I'm drinking loads of beer right now, its Friday evening after all, come on :O!
Prior before I even play Poker, I mine Hands on the specific limits. I mine through SpadeEye and FreePHG. FreePHG is .. free but SpadeEye costs around 27 Euro. I see it as an investment which is giving me money back if I use it. The reason why is that I can mine with it but I also can table select with it. It is simply awesome because it filters Tables based on your own Database.
Speaking about databases, I bought 250k hands on NL100 from the same Dealer for some of my BigBlinds. With that being add to my repertoire, I got all the necessary tools I need.
When I scanned all the 21 tables on NL100 at 19:00 CET, my Known Players % rate was above 85. That's a formidable percentage! It means that I have 150+ hands of 85% of the Opponents playing on NL100. The mean average Hands I got from Villains is around 500 á 600.
Since there are 21 tables, there isnt much multitabling possible. I only play Six tables of SSS. While this affects my winrate comparing it to BSS, I think that I switch tables far more often whenever I double up. Also not every table is Juicy/Loose!
I played 2 sessions of 1 hour and 30 minutes each approximately. I took a 45 minutes break in between to relax.
Getting to know the numbers wasn't that hard so I could focus at a 100% to my game instead of worrying about Scared Money issues. I had them back in the days moving from NL10 to NL25, Thinking in BigBlinds helps!.
I ended the First session almost break-even but I managed to double up in some of the last hands then:

River: ($41,50) 6♠
Final Pot: $41,50
Results follow (highlight to see):
Hero shows three of a kind, aces (Qs As)
BU shows two pairs, aces and kings (Kc Kh)
I lost a couple of BBs due getting TrippedOut, facing Coolers (QQvsKK), didnt hit 13 outers and traditional coinflips. To summarize this in 1 word: Variance.
I grabbed some hands that I have doubts on, see the Sample Hand section to check them out ![]()
~ 2nd session
This session was an uphill battle full of things I never experienced. Well I experienced more winnings than losses. This time I was the one who gave coolers to Villains! AQs prevailed against Pocket Eights. Kings were catfighting against the Ladies, Anna Kournikova met Ajax but Anna won, a Steal situation went wrong, My Ladies won against a Jack and his Lady, Anna Suited got Tripped out by BlackJack (ATo) and last but not least. My Pocket 10s doubled up against a Lady with his Jack as husband. My Pocket became a Four of a Kind.
A very intense session since I am not used to the winnings/losses but I gave my A-Game as I should and it payed off!
As I have noticed, someone stole my FriedFish Picture :(, sad but true. Nevertheless this didnt aborted my FriedFish moment.

Hi Gerv, just a quick question for you to answer after a couple of sessions;
Are you going to continue playing NL50 if you can't find enough Juicy tables at NL100? Or do you just play at peak times where there are enough NL100 tables going. (I didn't, i just kept playing NL100 even if the tables were tight, just blindstealing to get more partypoints)
I remember logging on once or twice to only find 6 to 9 or so available but that might have been at some crazy time in the night when i got back home from clubbing in london.
edit; i just noticed that you only played 844 hands today so it looks like there are still plenty of tables for your playing style. I'll leave the question up anyway.
Hi DaPhunk
I merged NL50 & NL100 in 1 Database so one can see that I will be playing NL50 whenever I am not totally focussed, NL100 is too tight, want to switch limits because I cannot rejoin the Juicy tables.
Playing on Tight tables simply won't give you any profit and is classic timewasting. (Hey I got AA on the BB! 9x folds)
I dont think playing on Tight tables is worth the Points, I have to get 200 a week to get my weekly goal or something.
Playing on Six makes my life easier NOT to play on a different limit because I can easily take a break (1h 30 min.) or find another suitable table at the time given.
I hope it makes sense,
- Gerv
when do u leave a table , i mean if u double or have over 25 bb ,,, orr what if u loose u keep rebuying when u have 15 bb left?? i once rebuyed 3 times....

I keep my stack flowing between 15bb - 17bb. If i rebuy it will be to 18-19bb
With 10bb-15bb stack, I can push according to Sklansky-Chubokov (Gold Article)
I also steal a lot to prevent rebuying but when I have to, I have to.
If I double, I wait untill the BB comes to me, I simply get free cards (= Points) and when I Get JJ+ AQ+, I play those too
[x] Yet so beautiful yet it's Reality
My 2nd day on NL100 was keeping myself in touch for any worse case scenario's. While I didn't failed this day, I ended this day with 40 bb loss. However I promoted to King level 2 (3.2x multiplier) so I cashed in a $25 coupon so it compensate's something for my losses.
I still have to get used to the amount of $ I win or lose. The numbers are getting bigger so I tend to see everything in BigBlinds. Means that if I am in the supermarket, I tend to think that product X costs 10 BigBlinds and product Z is costing 2.3 bigblinds ![]()
As played yesterday: only 1 session because I went clubbing with Friends, Social life is important! Keep in mind that sometimes you have to Balance things in order to stay focussed. Trust me on this one.
I lost 20bb in my first hand with Anna but it was +EV as I had looked afterwards, my HUD wasnt activated yet but with so much Dead money, it was ridiculous to fold:

MP2 shows two pairs, jacks and sevens (7:h 7:c)
MP1 shows a pair of jacks (A:c K:h)
Unlucky!
The tables werent that fishy at 19:00 CET but 6 of them were playable so I sat at these one (VPIP >25%), however typical coinflips happened and I lost a FishMoment due a beat. It Happens
The Graph of yesterday was:
I doubled up at the end with A:cA:h and A:cK:c so I could minimize the damage.
One thing to note down is that I have to study some more Advanced issues on the german forum , it gives a boost to your insight and its really helpful for extra tools in your repertoire.
Today I will be playing/mining/learning some more SSS things. My known players % of NL100 is around 82 and on Nl50 its barely 72%. The good thing is that on NL100 there are significantly less Shortie's than on Nl50 ![]()
Oh I am playing the BoD as well, so see you on the Final Table

Hello Gerv!
Thanks for visiting me, and if I'm honest I appreciate your comments.
This weekend has been crazy, I failed to get positive in any of my sessions, Saturday and today Sunday, the only good thing is that I was release another 20% of the bonus, only remains for me another 20% = $ 100.
I hope you all get out of wonders, We’ll keep in touch.
PS: What is SpadeEye?
