The check raise is very suspicious here and I'm risking a big stack... A win of this hand can mean a win of the tournament also.

easy broke !!!! don´t look at the result if you were beat. There are a lot worse hands paying you off !!!

he showed 10 10 for quads X(

A fold on a check raise wouldn't hurt right... why risk all of my stack on KK while I can get really far by folding and wait for a less tricky pot and a weaker opponent????

You also keep worse hands in play by just flatting your monsters ip, since re-raising UTG would show strength.

Idk what stats UTG had but it's suspicious that he didn't c-bet that flop being hu. I rarely face c/r-s from pf aggressors, this smells like w00t... but hey it's KK ♦

It would be interesting if you would've gone broke on that flop, re-raising pf.

Problem is that now after you know result fold is better but think from start.

If you didn't want to "fight" with tricky opponent you should raise for sure preflop which you didn't.

You obviously called so that you'll get more money later streets and you get him all in which was your plan but problem is that it went wrong since he hitted set on flop.

Well this happens you are good SNG/MMT player next time your plan will work and you'll be rich and happy ;)

For the re-raise preflop I'll make sure to do it next time...

But the issue here is to re-evaluate the going broke on the flop after a check raise.

Do the judge have something to add?

I agree with this. Also note that we don't always have to take the standard line! ;)

Against unknown opponents I always call the check/raise in position and shove on any turn (maybe not a T). Think how he would play JTs, T9s (sure he sometimes folds these preflop), and AT.
