opponent seemed like a passive fish, so far FoldtoCbet OTF( 0/2 ), OTT ( 0/1 ). I betted flop, turn for value, I think that's standard vs him because he has a lot of weaker hands, draws. Is it okay to try to get thin value on that river card and fold to raise? I did not wanted to check call because maybe he would bet big. TY!

Hi kidzoltan

I think that you can bet bigger on the turn but as played the river is quite thin.

Villain still has some overpairs and 66/88/89 get there as well. The only hands we really get value from are some rare 9x hands and our small bet can induce bluffs from missed draws.

So I think you should check there and look at his bet size before making a decision on the river.
