I have an usual pc. But I want to share my desktop customization which helps me in my grind.

What benefits are from this set-up:
1. the top right logo of PS is a 1 click launcher for PokerStars, HM and TN.

2. the top block is a summarizing and motivation tool, where I see how many hands I played, what bankroll I have including rakeback which is calculated differently on different vip statuses.

3. rss for news, pokernews (pokerstrategy also).

4. calendar where I can put notes about important mtt, wheather and music player with lyrics and other useful shortcuts.

5. and at last but not least, is a pretty cool desktop ..

So sick, how'd you set that up?

What makes it even sicker is that it's apparently in Linux (Ubuntu). It looks like we have a champ :f_thumbsup:

Do you dare to make a similar setup for the iPoker desktop client, which is Windows-only? I've never tested it with Wine, Virtual Box or the likes :f_tongue:

I'm sorry to disappoint you, is Windows :)

I'm using Rainmeter skins. First I installed Before Dawn Bar. That was more than a year ago. Then I modified it and added more elements. There are other cool skins on deviantart.

The pokerstars skin I did entirely myself and can be adapted to any poker room.
He is working this way: after every session I export from HM session tab results (is 2-3 clicks), then clicking on update button, the skin is reading from the .csv exported, if the session is different then he is updating the global variables. I'm reading $,hands and vpps, so I can calculate bankroll (including rakeback), effective bankroll (what is showing in cashier), $/100 hands, $/day, how much I unlocked from rewards, vip status.

I made this because I like to know what my general situation is, before I was using excel spreadsheets, but it takes too much time.

Yea you can make pretty good skins, but they slow down my pc, so I just avoid anything on desktop. I have no icons at all

On my second screen I usually have either Youtube open or watching Naruto or some other TV-show. I also just bought one of those smart little hipster devices (iPad) which I will probably use to watch Naruto, Youtube or Spotify and then just use screen two for TN2, PS lobby hand counter, etc.

The HUD is made by Pleno1, I just edited the colours since they confused me a bit, and I made colour coding for when opponents are not complete unknowns.

Edit: forgot to include my lucky leprechauns, I will upload pics later
