Why did you not bet the turn? That turn is such a good card for you to bet after he calls the flop. The flop is dry and from his point of view nothing changes on the turn.

Preflop call is fine HU.

Flop cbet is fine for protection.

I agree with clawindsouza, there is really no good reason to check back the turn imo.

Probably a marginal river fold vs shove, partly because we are deep. I would however raise fop a little smaller, can be tough to get calls from worse. Actually depends how aggro opponent is though and how often he perceives our river raise to be a bluff, I can see this being a call against certain opponents.

On the flop here when he check calls me at this point I didn't think he had a pair but possibly something like A10 so when turn hit I figured he was drawing dead and then I was expecting to see him lead out on the river.
My biggest leak so far is this though, over slow playing my big hands postflop and missing out on some value. I've only been playing these games for 1 week without any coaching etc as you can probably tell as I'm sure my thought process' don't make much sense yet. Slowly learning from my mistakes

In this spot if I was to continue on turn I would still expect him to be calling with JJ here all the time i assume? Thanks for the input guys
