Hi,

I got a throbbing 87,84 bb/100 Standarddeviation out of 21k Hands. Wait, this is NOT 6-max, I'm playing the 9-max Zoom tables trying to be LAG but not maniac ;-) That is a 22/18 with about 8% of total preflop 3bet and some quite exploitive AND exploitable c-bet/fold frequencies...

I then took the 4 bb/100 from my yellow line (which is only a third of my green line). In other words I seem to run quite lucky (only in 15-20% should I run even better at my skill level).
Kombined with 5400 bb BR I get a nice and tiny ROR of less than 0,4%.

My BRM is classic:

Go up at NL 25...50...100
at BR:.....750...2000..5000

go down at NL 10...25...50
at BR:.........300..1000..2500

atm trying to include the input RFI and CC ranges in my play at the tables so that I have a visualization of Villain's ranges which seems to make some post-flop decisions a lot easier

For a higher grade, I created an excel file for calculating RoR. :)

You can enter your bankroll in a currency, choose a level you currently play, enter the winrate and the standard deviation. Then you see the number of your big blinds and the Risk of Ruin in case you will play the current limit untill you go broke.

The bottom part is for configuring your BRM plan. You can choose the limits you will play and the minimal number of buy ins for each limit. Then you can see the level you should play, according to your bankroll and BRM plan, efective number of stacks you have (considering you would drop down limits, following your BRM plan), and the RoR in case you will stick to the plan. I used the data of Zeffke for testing. Hope I made the calculations right..

The file can be downloaded here.

Hey dima,

Just finished editing the 2nd vid. Will submit to pokerstrategy later today. As for when they release it - that's up to them I'm guessing it will be another week at least because they plan their video releases in advance.

Yes, that is correct. And it's very unlikely someone has a constant winrate.

You need a very large sample of hands to know your true winrate - by the time you have a big enough sample your winrate has probably changed. In other words we can never really know our true winrate simply take an educated guess with a decent sample of hands.

Sorry Alleen86,

I was so impressed that you've done a whole spreadsheet on this that I was waiting until I had the time to give you a nice reply :P

Really, excellent job, this is going to be a useful tool for a lot of guys imo. I haven't had time to check if the calcs are ok yet.

I downloaded it, but it crashed Excel 2003.
Yes, I do have the converter.

I actually thnik the spreadsheet does not work propertly for some people,
because the commands are in german (atleast for me?!?) and if you have an english
excel/openoffice/whatever it might not work properly...

Hi guys!

I had some data in cells that are beyond the available area in Excel 2003 spreadsheets, so that might be a reason why it didn't want to open the file, despite of converter.. Now I dislocated that data and saved the file with the .xls extension, so it should be opened in all versions of Excel. I hope that functionality didn't change, because it might happen sometimes during conversions. Didn't test it much.

#Krad85, not sure sure what commands you are thinking of. The Office language shouldn't be of any importance here. I use Croatian, for example. The functions are standard for Excel, there's not possible to write them in different languages.. I didn't try to open the file in openoffice, so can't be sure if it's possible to do that..

Could you, guys, please, try again now and let me now if the file is working now? The link is still here. (you should click on the file and download it by hitting the upper right button).

Thanks! :)

Btw I was thinking about what I said some more and I think the difference is probably pretty small, also you are right that playability is pretty important. In general though obv these are guidelines. Anyway watched like 10 minutes of your video and you do an excellent job of explaining and being clear. So just wanted to come in and clear this up and tell you to keep up the excellent work.

I submitted part 2 to pokerstrategy.com today, so it's in their hands now.

Part 2 will deal with 3betting ranges and also iso-raising.

@severm07 thanks for comments

Hi w34z3l! Can you add 3betting ranges and also iso-raising at pasteable format for quick entry into equilab.

Do we 4bet the same range as we 3bet for value?

For example, we raise BTN with AK and get 3bet by unknown in BB, how do we react 100bb deep?

Yes, they will be added :)

However they will be added after the video is released. The reason is that I don't recommend using the ranges without the guidance suggested in the video. They can result in losses when not used correctly.

Generally 4bet. Sometimes we can flat though, depends on the opponent.

And no we don't necessarily 4bet the same range as we 3bet for value. I think we discussed this on skype.
