There were no overlays with the BB/SB ranges as listed.

Great video, w34z3l! Will help me alot with constructing 3bet ranges!

To make the learning process easier, I made an Excel file based on your ranges. These are two screenshots of using the sheet while playing:

You just click on the position you're at and then you can click on open range from that position, or ranges vs opponents from various positions.

The file is working in Excel 2010, and I think it should work in Excel 2007. You have to enable macros! It can be downloaded here.

What program did you use? I have Equilab and pokerstove but I didn't find how to use multiple colours on the charts with those 2.

I downloaded it, and opened it in Excel 2003 (there is a converter available from Microsoft)

Once converted and re-saved, it works in Excel 2003.
There is one problem, though -- the colours for Value Bet and Cold Call come out almost the same in Excel 2003. It should be no problem to fix that though.

Edit: I did fix that, but modifying the light yellow colour.
This reveals the fact that the two labeled blocks in the legend ARE the same colour. (ex T20 and X20) In Excel 2010 they may not be, I can't tell.

Hey guys!

I added the xls file now, which should be possible to open in Excel 2003. Since I used the VB Macros (to configure action buttons), please make sure that the macros are enabled. I'm sure that the xlsm file is working with Excel 2010, and pretty sure that is working with Excel 2007 (although, didn't try it). xls file should be working in Excel 2003, but also, didn't try it. Have Office 2010 only..

I thought ti would be easier for me to have the file openned and click the buttons while playing, instead of searching ranges on the paper, at least untill I "memorize" the ranges, or adopt the concept behind them. So, hope this would help someone else.

About the colours, this is what I see:

Here is my homework for the Episode 2:

Part 1:
When I jumped to Equilab to put in some ranges, I soon realized that similarly to any other range there are many things to consider when we’re isolating. You have mentioned some of them in the video, like postflop expectation and tendencies of a specific fish (does he play fit-or fold, which allows us to isolate him much wider and cbet almost every flop, or is he a calling station, in which case we need hands that are ahead of his range and hit flops pretty well). But I think you haven’t mentioned in your video (or maybe I just missed it ) anything about players left to act behind us. As far as I can see it, if there are some aggressive 3-betters behind us, it should tighten our isolation range. Also there are regs to think about, who know that we’re isolating wide, but maybe it is not a factor at micro stakes.

So, given everything you said in your video and some of my own thoughts, I came up with a default isolation ranges which I would use if a limper and everyone behind me are unknown and we are about 100bb effective.

Versus a shortstacked limper I wouldn't isolate with marginal hands, I would tighten my range to broadways, strong and medium Ax and pairs etc., hands that I can jam in when I hit a pair or something.

Part 2:
I know that limpers tend to be loose-passive players, but versus an unknown I generally cbet almost every flop, until I have some info, that he might be a calling station. I think such players won't ch/raise with air vs my cbet and push me out of the pot, so even if he calls, for example I can check behind on the turn and realize my equity that way. I don't like the idea of bluffing such players when they call my cbet, so basically I would give up in that situation.

With strong hands I would bet 3 streets for value (top pairs, etc., maybe even a small bet on the river with second pair if I think that he can call me with worse).

Also, I would generally continue betting turn with my good draws, because if a fish likes his hand and will call my turn bet, he will also often call a big bet on the river when my draw hits.

I really like your videos, I find them very helpful! I have recently started playing a bit looser, 3betting more etc. and I noticed that even though my overall feel of the game improved and I am doing less mistakes postflop (at least I think I do), the results are not so great compared to when I was a nitty tag. When you explained about the influence of rake at micros in this videos, you kinda open my eyes! I think I will save loose 3betting and laggy style for higher limits!

And btw, thanks Alleen86 for your files! I'm sure they will be very useful. I haven't tried to use them during a session, but I will definitely do that as soon as possible!

ROR is hard to calculate for me.. I have only 8k hands@NL10, therefore StD ist huge and WR completely unreliable...

I can't calculate my ROR because I don't have hands in .com sites and I'm going to play in .com so I create my bankrool on my own.
I think your BRM is too loose, I prefer something like this :
- move up to NL5 at 120 € move down to 80 €
- move up to NL10 at 400 € move down to 300 €
- move up to NL25 at 1000 € move down to 800 €
- move up to NL50 at 2500 € move down to 2000 €

Is this too nitty? I think move down have a very negative effect in your mind so I prefer to be nitty.

Here my set up.

Right now I'm living in a host family so I can't create my own set up.
Next week I'm going to move in a flat share where I have my own room so I will post here a new image with my new set up.
