hi , has anyone encountered the above with hm2? When I open tables at 888 with hm2 switched on,the table windows start to lag immediately and run very slowly. Once i turn off hm2 everything works fine. What to do?
Two radical variants come to mind: buy Pokertracker 4 (it's lighter) or upgrade the computer with an extra RAM module. HM2 is known to be extremely heavy on the RAM ![]()
But before those, try launching the poker client always before HM2. I'm not a specialist as to the 888 network (have never played there), but fwiw, when I launch my Ladbrokes client when PT4 is already running, the client's windows don't show up, it only appears as a process, which I have to kill by the Task Manager to restart the client; that's also the case for clients of other iPoker skins afaik.
Hi guys, thanks for the replies. I do have 4 gb ram and the funny thing is that there is no problem when using hm2 on the i poker network ( william hill, bet 365). Does it make any sense?
cheers
This can happen if you have a wrong auto-import configuration of handhistory and archive folders in the HM2 site setup or if you use a faulty hud.
Please try a different hud and if this doesn't help please post your auto-import settings or send us the log file as explained in this FAQ (please add a link to this thread): http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/1921/How+Do+I+Send+a+Log+File+to+Holdem+Manager+Support%3F
as i like multitasking i upgraded my pc from 4G to 8GB RAM. playing on stars my ram is used for about 3,4GB, It was lagging with 4GB ram, but with 8GB all good.
hmm who knows, but i guess try to use new hud - make it! firstly small and simple and check how it goes with lagging issues.
With faulty hud i mean a Hud which contains invalid stats or for example very complicate NC stats which need a lot of calculations.
AlvisR explained it very good how to figure this out.
