I took a break from poker because i have exams now. Last month was ok, I can be satisfied with my earnings. I earn about 700 $ with RB. I think its good for first month of serious poker. Played nl10 and had shot at nl25. I think I am still not regular winning player at nl25...I am sure i got leaks that i have to fix....not sure if staking/coaching is good solution of problem or reading and watch a lot of videos?
Cheers,
goldenbode
Nice winnings Bode for those limits - congrats!
I would recommend coaching and staking only if you will get :
- Coach that will follow up with session promises
- Coach that can translate the knowledge efficiently to you
- Coach that will care for you to make it in zoom and make you crusher
Everybody now days has money to stake but coaching is not something everybody can/should do
Also consider coaching and staking as part of investment. Great coach will make you reach your goals faster. When you watch videos on your own you pretty much are restricted and get stuck easily. Who to ask questions about that video and concepts? Who to share hands with ? Who will give you free advice and fix your leaks?
Poker strategy is great because you can post hands in evaluation forums and comment on others (definitely recommend that to develop solid thinking process). As far as community goes I am sure you will find some guys that will help you for free.
Overall I am more for coaching and staking deal but only with right coach as that coach will bust his and your balls to make you become a crusher in the near future!
Good luck and look forward to future updates
Tnx mate. How can I be sure if coach will give me all that you described? I like style of Bogdan and mbml but not sure if they are giving staking/coaching?!
This month goals:
1. Play 30k hands on nl10 zoom
2. Make a profit pre rb 500$
3. Be active on forum so I can ask staking
4. Find suitable coach
5.Organize my time better so I can play poker and start study hard for my college
6. Get back to gym after two months not exercising at all
I started playing and made 100$ of profit pre rb so I am feeling confident to reach monthly goal of 500 $...had some problem with pt4 but fixed it. Very nice costumer service there.
Will post some graphs and reports later.
Cheers,
goldenbode.
This day was a bit strange. First I had a downswing at NL10 and annoyed by my players and the small role I decided to play a little NL25.
At the end of the day I made a big profit on NL25 but I have not played according to bnkrl so my adventure today at NL25 ends. I withdrew the money from last month profit and now I have to create a new bnkrl so I have to be careful.
Here is picture of me crushing two tables at nl25 hihii ♠_biggrin:

and graph for this month

Profit: 242$ ----- 48 % of monthly goal
Hands played: 14 539----- 48 % of monthly goal
Profits and played hands are at the same level...realized that now hihih ♠_biggrin:
Thats it for today.
Cheers
Nice work,
It's pretty hard to find motivation playing lower stakes when you know that you are a winning player higher, so good luck achieving that mindset.
Btw. Monthly goals look pretty achievable from this point, so gogogoggo
Yes...motivation is the greatest problem for me now. When you are breakeven for 2 days and dont know how because you play against worse players...and then you go to tilt. But iI will be strong hahah
Grapsh for this month

Profit: 265$ = 53% of monthly goal
Hands: 18 739 = 62 % of monthly goal
I didnt go to gym...I will start tomorow. I didnt learn anything for my exam...also start tomorow. I tried to make my hud better but when I started playing I was lost... Does anybody has idea how to get used to new hud as soon as possible? So thats all for today...cheers

Grind?
Hello guys... I was little busy so i didnt post anything. I am at the same point where i was befire i posted last time... Came to conclusion that i will be playing tighter nl10 because there is no point. Only play with good hand because they dont recpect 3 bet so abc poker is the best solution before i get to nl25. And put volume and wait for fishes to bite. Thats all for now.
Cheers
I agree that probably "tight is right" is the best approach on micros,
gl with your grind, wish you to get back to 25 quickly,
Cheers!

What do you think about this hand?
I didnt post any graph for long time so here it is

I started to go in the gym.. my every musce hurts... i dont feel my legs...hate gym but have to go because of my job and health.
I didnt learn anything...am am really bad student...have to come up with solution of my lazyness. so thats all
cheers
I forgot to say that I hit the monthly target of played hands. and as far as profits i am at 58% .
Certainly, the profit goal is the last thing you should worry about. In fact, it shouldn't be a goal at all. While it's great to think in terms of outcomes rather than the process, the monetary outcome is affected by the variance too much in the case of poker.
All the other goals you've set are good ones, overcoming laziness is the key one, of course. Though, basing on what you've written about the hurting legs... I'm starting to think that you're striving to achieve too much at once, in particular, have taken too big a workload on the first gym days.
Goals do need to be exciting and motivating, but they still need to be realistic, only a bit harder than what you're already capable of doing. Myself, I can't jump from 600 to 2000 SnGs in a single month without the game quality being affected, that will necessarily be a gradual process.
GL!
I worked the night shift and when I returned home I could not resist not to play the one session. That was really bad idea...5 BI down!
I did not play as bad as my results show but i recommend everyone not play poker tired as hell.
