okay i try i really dont know about the 3b deep here against an utg range. could be okay dunno. it seems very high variance with that hand.

its really hard here to fold top 2, 2 backdoorfd and a nut gutter. i guess i would call flop and ev turn. people play str8 forward when they are this deep.

yeah i usually don't 3bet, your draws are likely to be dominated and you might get into serious trouble deep.
just call and outplay him on like 80%+ of flops.
as played i call his raise and see what the turn brings :)

i dont mind to 3bet all kind of hands if you are deep, even vs UTG and this hand defenitly plays better as a 3bet than as a call preflop.

as the others said, i would call flop and reevaluate turn.

Hi,

i also don't like the preflop 3bet.

The problem of calling the flop is what do you do when the turn bricks? Do you think UTG is doing this with draws? If so, you can call to see a blank turn. But if you think villain only does this with made hands, you should fold here right on the flop, despite your 2 backdoor draws.

There's no way villain is pot raising this flop to stop the agression on a "good" turn for you, so you have to make a decision right here right now.

Skod

hey skod i dont think that villian will blind barrel all turncards this deep. So in my mind the call otf isnt so bad. We can shove lot turns imo every :diamond: :club: for example. espcacially if a "scarecard" hits and he checks.

you dont think so? i mean are they no scare cards for villian in ure mind because he craise pot here?

Problem is villain will blind barrel all blank turn cards, which are the ones we are looking for. The question is, can we stackoff on those turn cards even if it's a bd, but nonnuty fd? So you see it's a very tough spot, especially since from my experience the deeper you are, the more people raise made hands and not draws, so deep i really fear QQ here, or maybe something like QT98.

Skod

you said that if you think villain doesn't do this with wraps you should fold the flop. fair enough, but i think it would be a bit too pessimistic to put villain specifically on QQ and therefore lay it down. i can see myself folding here to a 15/8 guy who nutpeddles and fastplays any hit.
against most other players i assume that their raising range is a bit wider, which makes flop a call then (like you said in your first post). if we have the assumption that his range is wide enough to call the flop, then we should get it in on the turn imo. like you said, he blind barrels all the blanks. i don't necessarily agree with that he never shuts down on cards which hit our range, but it doesn't matter that much.

call flop fold blank turn is not an option imo, so the question "can we stack off on a 2  turn?" can not arise. we made that decision on the flop already.

Yes,

that's why i advocate to just fold flop. 200 deep i can't imagine we are ahead when he raises. Best case scenario he has something like QJT9 against which we are slightly ahead, but even that is so rare here.

Worst case scenario villain has a set and we are drawing close to dead.

up to 150 bb i'd call flop to get it in, but 200 deep his range is from my experience too heavily weighted towards sets despite our blockers.

I'd love if david would give us the results here :)

Skod

Hero has 32% against QQxx, so it's not "drawing dead". But I agree on fold flop. I don't like the 3bet as he has such a hand that hits lot of the flops, but rarely hits it hard. 200bb deep I like to hit hard. :)
